Outline
Using a combination of facilitated
discussions and simulations, participants
will develop and practise the skills,
knowledge and attitudes required for up to
date management of anaphylaxis.
The course will incorporate the recently
developed Australian and New Zealand
Anaesthetic Allergy Group (ANZAAG)
guidelines.
The session will satisfy the ANZCA 2014 CPD
program requirements for Anaphylaxis, and
the course is suitable for ANZCA trainees
who need to complete an Anaphylaxis
course.
This course promotes a team-based
approach and anaesthesia assistants are
encouraged to attend with their medical
colleagues.
