About Bunyip Pony Club
The Bunyip cross country course has a combination of bush and open areas, on flat, easy to negotiate terrain. It is
suitable for pony club grades 1 – 5. As would be expected from a state qualifier course, it includes many technical
obstacles. In addition to catering for the upper level riders it has been especially modified as a training course to enable
combinations to be introduced to concepts, then when confident to train at higher levels.
We have a 60 x 100 metre all weather sand arena, and an additional 50 x 60 metre sand arena. There is ample room for
camping including approximately 25 yards available for hire. We have full canteen facilities available and if there is
enough interest will put on a barbecue for the evening – please let us know if you are keen.
Locally there is the Garfield Swimming Pool for a bit of after lesson relief. Bunyip also boasts a supermarket, two hotels
offering pub meals and an expanding choice of cafes.
