YOUTH GROUP:
There will be a meeting for the Youth
Group on Friday, January 9th,
beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Hall.
This is a good way for young people
to continue journeying with the Lord.
Parents please encourage your
child/children to come. All youths
who
have
received
their
Confirmation and until the age of 17,
are invited to attend and participate.
DECEMBER
SPECIAL
COLLECTION:
Please note that our December
Special Collections will be going
towards our Christmas Baskets and
our food pantry. As usual, we ask
that you be as generous as possible.
CHRISTMAS BASKET PICK-UP
– VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
We are in need of approx. 10 strong
people, who can give us approx. 4
hours of their time on Thurs. Dec.
18th as of 8:00 a.m. to help pick up
the canned goods from the schools.
We need these for our Christmas
Baskets. If you are able to help,
please call the rectory to give your
name. Remember, many hands make
light work!!

CHOIR:
Do you love to sing? Would you like
to share your gift of voice with
others? Then come and join St.
Brendan’s Youth Choir. The youth
choir will sing at Youth Masses, the
next one will take place on Jan.

WARDEN’S THANK YOU:
I want to personally thank David
Gedeon and Victor Di Lena for their
service as wardens.
Their
participation in helping us with
keeping our finances in check has been
invaluable. So once again thank you
for your years of service.
ALTAR’S SERVERS MEETING:
There will be a short Altar Servers
meeting on Saturday, December 20th,
at 10:00 a.m. in the Church. All Altar
Servers from both St. Brendan’s and
St. Aloysius’ Parish are requested to
be present. If you are unable to
attend, please make sure to call Fr.
Paul at 514-376-4537.

KEVIN’S
PARISH:
CHRISTMAS CONCERT:
In anticipation of the celebration of the
birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ,
everyone is invited to our annual
Christmas concert on Saturday, Dec. 20th
at 7pm (5600 Cote-des-Neiges Rd)
featuring all of our choirs and other
musical talents. Hear traditional Christian
hymns and beautiful carols by John Rutter
and other composers. Not to be missed!!
Bring your family, friends and neighbours.
Refreshments will be served after the
concert in the church hall. Contact the

HOLD’EM
POKER
TOURNAMENT:
Fundraising
Benefitting
our
StDonat/R.D.P. Hockey Club is holding a
“Texas Hold’Em” Poker Tournament on
Friday, Jan. 9th 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at
Complexe Le Baron (St. Leonard). The
fee is $80, includes buffet and parking.
Please support our young hockey players.
