A Monroe County native, Kathy is the Founder and Director of the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, [PWRC], a place where injured and orphaned wild animals native to PA are cared for until they can fend for themselves, when they are released back into the wild. The facility serves six counties and takes in more than 1,000 animals annually, including fawns, owls, hawks, squirrels, rabbits, songbirds, raccoons and bears. THE EARTH SPEAKS The entry deadline for “The Earth Speaks, A Juried Exhibition on the Climate Crises” has been extended to January 31, COMMUNITY NEWS 2015.
