LETTER FROM THE
PRESIDENT
Dear fellow shooters and hunters,
CZ-USA is approaching its 10th Anniversary.
10 years of serving American customers
has lef t a permanent mark on me. I love the
outdoors and the best of friends were met
on hunting trips. I have visited very remote
places this past year and when I walked
to a gun store and asked whether they
carry CZ guns and the answer was “yes”, I
knew we must have done something right.
I felt gratitude to all customers, dedicated
employees and loyal CZ owners who carried
the word out all the way to the remote areas.
I felt extremely proud to be associated with
CZ over and over again.
Irlene Mandrell was born in Corpus Christi, Texas,
and is the youngest sister of the world famous
country trio, The Mandrell Sisters. In addition to
her many stage and television appearances, she
is a regular participant in all with BuckMasters,
Quail Unlimited, NRA, The National Wild Turkey
Federation, etc. (Irlene recently finished her Grand
Slam in turkey hunting).
Irlene Mandrell is many things including country
woman and glamorous star, a working mother, and
someone you could feel comfortable with around
your own kitchen table.
She is presently the spokesperson for CZ-USA.
10 years ago we started a long journey and
every year we have worked hard to convince
the shooting public that our products are
in fact superior by adhering to the highest
standards of quality and by adding new
calibers, models and modifications to
make sure we are always among the top
manufacturers. We have been very proud of
the success of Dan Wesson as well as the
Safari Classics line and we have a few new
projects in works.
At CZ-USA we love our products, we use our
products and we listen to our customers - we
couldn’t have made it without you. Thank you

The Uhersky Brod plant is the largest small arms factory in the world,

The Professional Hunter Proficiency Exam
in Zimbabwe tests the skills of the soon to
be PH. This exam combined with the Rifa
Professional Hunter and Guides training/
refresher course provides an insightful
glimpse into the rifles these dangerous
game professionals trust their lives to as
well as those of their clients. According
to Don Heath, Editor of African Hunter
Magazine, the CZ is by far the most common
make seen at the exam.
The rimfire rifles of Ceska Zbrojovka, Uhersky
Brod have been favorites of sportsmen and
around the world due to their unmatched
accuracy, and uncompromising high quality
both in materials and craf tsmanship. Since
CZ-USA has made them accessible to the US
market, the legend has only grown. Available
in a wide array of models, we have a rimfire to
meet any application or budget. From the the
513 Basic to any of the many variations of the
452 and the new SST equipped 453, we have
a model to fit your needs.
The accuracy demanded by discriminating
shooters is accomplished on all of the rimfire
models through the use of hammer forged
barrels, lapped to a mirror polish. This is not
the cheapest or fastest way to build a barrel,
but it is part of our “take the time to do it right”
attitude.
The receivers are forged from steel billets, not
tubing or plastic. Every trigger in the 452 line
is user adjustable for weight of pull, to meet the
requirements of the individual shooter whether
in competition or in the field.
This quality and attention to detail goes into
every rimfire we make and has made the CZUSA rimfires a growing favorite among small
game hunters and smallbore competitors in the
US.

This reliability, that these professionals
depend on is the primary reason they rely
on the CZ 550 for stopping dangerous
game, but the accuracy, and value that the
rifle provides is definitely not a detriment to

INSIDE THE CZ 550 ACTION
The CZ 550 is a Mauser type action.The Mauser 98 action established itself as a viable
alternative to the double rifle due to its reliable feeding over 100 years ago.

SINGLE SET TRIGGER
A lifetime of hunting will expose you to a
multitude of situations. You will be presented
with fleeting opportunities that require a
quick shot, and when hunting dangerous
game you must be prepared for the life or
death shot to stop a charge. On the other
hand, most shots will give you the opportunity
to shoot from a more stable position such as
rest, shooting sticks or a practiced kneeling
or prone position.
The CZ single set trigger (SST) system
provides the shooter with the options to
effectively handle any shooting situation they
are presented with.
The SST allows for both a standard hunting
trigger and a light target trigger in the same
rifle. By operating the rifle in the same manner
as any other bolt-action rifle, the trigger is in
the “standard” mode with the heavier of the
two trigger pulls. By simply pushing the
trigger forward until it “clicks” the crisp and
light target trigger mode is set.
It has been said that the single set trigger
is a better aid to accuracy than a thousand
dollar scope.

The Ultra Lux has a 28” barrel for more precise shooting with iron sights. The beechwood stock
is offered on these models to bring our customers the same quality you expect from CZ-USA at a
lower price. Both are shipped with a 5 rd magazine.

CZ452/453 AMERICAN
The CZ 452/453 American is a high quality rimfire rifle designed for the US market. The American model is true
to the lines of the classic American sporter style rifle. Made without sights, the top of the receiver is machined
with a 3/8” wide dovetail groove for mounting standard rimfire dovetail rings. The CZ 452/453 American is
shipped with a 5 rd magazine. The safety is located above the rear of the bolt and provides a positive firing pin
block. The 453 takes the time tested platform of the CZ 452 and adds a fully adjustable, single set trigger system
mechanically identical to that featured on the CZ 527 and CZ 550 centerfire rifles. Single shot adapters, 5 rd
magazines and 10 rd magazines are available for this line of rimfire rifles.

CZ452 SILHOUETTE
The Silhouette was designed to meet the requirements of the IMSSA for smallbore silhouette competition. It features a
synthetic stock and blued finish on all metal surfaces. Made without open sights, the top of the receiver is fitted with an
11mm dovetail groove for mounting a scope. Rifles are delivered with a 5 rd magazine.
CZ452 VARMINT
The 452 Varmint is based on the same time proven action as our other .22’s, it features a 21”
heavy barrel without sights and an 11mm dovetail groove for scope mount attachment. The .22
WMR and .17 HMR models feature 3/8” dovetail. The stock is Turkish walnut. The rifles are
shipped with a 5 rd magazine.

The Scout is a compact rimfire rifle with a 12” length of pull for young shooters. Its shortened dimensions,
reduced weight and single round loading device make it a perfect first rifle for any boy or girl. The single
round loading device helps teach ammo conservation and marksmanship. The rifle features adjustable
open sights and an 11mm dovetail groove for mounting optics. Rifles are delivered with a single shot
adapter. Any of the .22 LR CZ 452 Magazines including both the 5 and 10 rd versions will fit the Scout,
and are available separately.

The newest version of the CZ 527 is set up specifically for left handed shooters with left side bolt and eject. The left hand
model retains all of the features that made the CZ 527 a favorite with shooters, from its forged square bridge receiver and

The CZ 550 American and CZ 550 Varmint are models
made specifically for our U.S. customers featuring an
American pattern stock with 18 LPI checkering.
The CZ 550 embodies aesthetic elegance and ergonomic design. On closer inspection,
the heart of the machine shows its time-honored features. The Mauser style claw extractor
for positive feeding and extraction, and compact trigger mechanism, which can be used as
a single stage or a single set trigger. The CZ 550 has a positive 2-position safety. All CZ
550’s feature a classic square bridge receiver with a 19mm dovetail milled right into the
receiver for the mounting of optics. For accuracy and long life these rifles are fitted with
hammer forged barrels.
A Classic varmint style stock and a detachable magazine combined with a 25.6” hammer forged
heavy barrel and single set trigger means that there is no hope for any varmint in your sights.

CZ-USA offers its own headstamped ammunition to complement the Safari Classic rifles. The Solids are craf ted
from a single alloy for superior strength, rigidity and hardness for the ultimate in deep, bone-crushing penetration.
Our Soft and hollow point expanding ammunition incorporate only premium bullets for all-around performance on big
game, delivering deep penetration and controlled expansion.
The .404 Jef fery was introduced in 1909 by Jeffery of England to duplicate .450/400 (3 ¼”) performance in a
cartridge designed for bolt action rifles. The .404 drives a 400 grain bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2170 fps.

Rugged, heavy duty and always goes “bang” when the trigger is pulled… the CZ 550 action remains a variant of
the true magnum Mauser that is properly proportioned to accept the longest big-game car tridges. Safari Classics
by CZ is currently offering five calibers in custom grade CZ 550 Safari rifles: .300 H&H Mag, .404 Jeffery, .450
Rigby, .500 Jeffery, and .505 Gibbs.
The Safari Classics rifles feature single set trigger set up to your specifications, glossy, satin, matte or rust blue
finish on metal parts, #1 Fancy grade American Walnut stock with dual crossbolts and straight comb glass
bedded to the individual action and a barrel band. The rifles chambered in .505 Gibbs and .500 Jeffery include
a mercury recoil reducer installed in the stock as well. We have also added several optional upgrades for the
2007 season that can be specified at the time when you place your order. These upgrades include bolt jewelling,
installation of muzzle break and action job etc.

Custom select wood
The .450 Rigby is based on the classic .416 Rigby case. While it is has been around for only just over 10 years, this
car tridge has gained a reputation as the most ef fective dangerous game stopping car tridge for standard magnum
sized actions. The 465 grain bullet delivers over 2300 fps at the muzzle.
The .505 Gibbs was developed as a proprietary car tridge for use in the Mauser type bolt action rifles by George
Gibbs around 1910. The bullet weight is 525 grains and it leaves the muzzle at 2300 fps.
The .500 Jeffery is a rebated rim cartridge developed by the German company Shuler in 1928 for use in Mauser
rifles. While there has been considerable confusion and multiple standards on the design, The CZ rifles and
ammunition are built according to the most recent (1998) CIP specification. Pushing a 535 grain bullet at 2300
fps, the .500 Jeffery delivers truly impressive stopping power.

CZ 550 ULTIMATE HUNTING RIFLE
The CZ Ultimate Hunting Rif le (UHR) is the per fect
complement to the Safari Classics line of dangerous game
rifles. This rifle delivers the pinpoint accuracy hunters demand
for surgical shot placement on plains game. The UHR is a CZ
550 based rifle in .300 Winchester Magnum that comes in at
8 lbs, and includes a minute of angle accuracy guarantee to
600 yards. By maintaining quality control standards unheard
of in the industry, the Ultimate Hunting Rifle delivers a level
of accuracy formerly only available from high-end custom
riflesmiths. The UHR allows the hunter to realize the full
potential of the components in their rifle system. By ensuring
that the rifle itself is very accurate, guaranteed MOA to 600
yards, the only variables left in the system are the optics, ammo
and ability of the hunter.

CZ750 SNIPER
The rings developed for the CZ Ultimate hunting rifle are
machined out of 1 piece of solid steel. The bottom half of both
the front and rear ring are connected by a steel bridge. By
machining from one piece of steel, imperfect ring alignment
is reduced greatly. In addition the steel bridge connecting the
rings increases the rigidity of the action. CZ’s Scope mounting
system incorporates a 19mm dovetail machined into the double
square bridge of the receiver. By eliminating a separate base
and screws used to attach the base, multiple opportunities for
failure are eliminated completely from the system.
With an effective range of 800 yards, the CZ 750 Sniper is ideal for use by the elite
military and law enforcement snipers it was designed for. The synthetic thumbhole
sniper style stock is adjustable for comb height as well as length of pull. The
underside of the fore-end is fitted with a 220mm long rail that provides multiple
attachment points for a bipod.

Two scope mounting options are available for the 750 Sniper. A weaver rail comes
installed, or by removing the rail, the integrated CZ 19mm dovetail may be used. The
750 Sniper features a muzzle brake, thread protector, mirage shield and two 10 round
detachable magazines.
Keeping in mind that the Ultimate Hunting Rifle is the
foundation of a shooting system capable of extreme precision,
CZ-USA has put a package together including a premium
scope, rings and hard case to help realize the rifle’s full
potential. The Ultimate Hunting Rifle package incorporates
a Nightforce 5.5-22x50 scope with target turrets, lighted
reticle, and side parallax adjustment. The scope included in
the package combines the premium quality of the Nightforce

The UHR was developed to perform with premium ammunition.
Without consistent, quality ammunition, no rifle can reach it’s
maximum accuracy. The development of the rifle was done
with Dynamic Research Technologies DRT 200gr ammo.
Other Ammo that has proven to be accurate in the UHR is the
165gr. Hornady SST Interlock.
CZ-USA does not endorse irresponsible, extreme long-range hunting. When combined with practice,
premium ammunition and optics, the UHR is intended to extend the range of the ethical hunter by 250
yards.

CZ’s beautifully handcraf ted shotguns merge old
world craf tsmanship with state of the art modern
technology.
All CZ’s double guns are built on frames
proportionate to their gauge. For added durability
all exterior barrels are hard black chromed with
chrome lined interior. These af fordable shotguns
are topped of f with hand checkered, select
Turkish Walnut delighting the most discriminating
aficionado.
.410 ga. and 16 ga. shotguns come with fixed
chokes in improved cylinder and modified. All
of the other CZ shotguns come with screw in
chokes in Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Improved
Modified, Modified, and Full.
CZ’s new line of shotguns is manufactured by
a well-respected company with over 75 years
of history in making shotguns. In the Turkish
town where our shotguns are made, there are
no restaurants, movie theaters, or internet cafes,
but they do have sporting clays, trap, and skeet
ranges. They know shotguns.

The Redhead comes with a single selective trigger and extractors (auto ejectors on 12 and 20 ga. models). The Redhead is

Due to popular demand the Woodcock and Ringneck
are now available in custom grade versions. Select,
grade IV Circassian walnut is used for this elegant
new of fering. Built in the factory’s custom shop, one
at a time, the custom grade over/unders and side by
sides are available in 20ga, 28” configurations for
the discriminating shooter.

The top of the line Woodcock from CZ is more than just a game gun; it is a work of art, but art with a function. The Woodcock comes
standard with single selective trigger and extractors (auto ejectors on 12 and 20 ga. models). The Woodcock‘s sculptured frame
incorporates a side plate, resembling a true side lock, embellished with hand engraving and finished with color casehardening. The
Woodcock is available in 12, 20 and 28ga with screw-in chokes and choked IC & Mod in .410.

Over & Under shotguns have an aura about them.
Traditionally a “gentleman’s” gun, complicated to build, more
delicate than a field grade pump, beautiful to behold, but
above all expensive.
CZ is recasting the old image of the stack-barreled gun with
a new line of Over & Unders that are still beauties to behold,
but built as tough as the pump action duck guns from by
gone years.

CZ75 B STAINLESS
The new CZ 75 Stainless is the first stainless steel firearm that bears the CZ name. With the
exception of an ambidextrous manual safety and rubber grips, the stainless version is functionally

This model is a decocker version of the basic
CZ 75 B model. The decocking lever mounted
on the left side allows the hammer to be easily
lowered on a loaded chamber for a safe “hammer
down” carry.
The SA model is identical to the CZ 75 B in all respects, except that it has a single action
trigger mechanism, extended beavertail, and an ambidextrous manual safety. This version is
perfect for sport shooting. The trigger is a straight blade and is adjustable for over-travel.

CZ85 COMBAT
The CZ 85 combat is an upgraded model of the CZ 85
featuring an adjustable rear sight, drop free magazines
and over-travel adjustable trigger. The lack of a firing
pin block safety allows the replacement of the firing
pin without tools, thus the “Combat” designation. The
85 Combat is used by top shooters in IDPA “Stock
Service Pistol” division and USPSA “Production” division
competition.
CZ75 SP-01
The CZ 75 SP-01 is the first full size handgun (4.72” bbl)
from CZ to feature the improved manufacturing technology
and ergonomics of the NATO approved CZ 75 Compact P01 model. Featuring an integral 1913 accessory rail on the
dust cover, rubber grip panels, and CZ’s corrosion resistant
black polycoat finish, the SP-01 is the newest model to join
the family of pistols based on the CZ 75 (SA/DA) platform.
Borrowing from the improved grip geometry of the CZ 75
Compact P-01, the SP-01 utilizes an extended beavertail
to protect shooter’s strong hand as well as allowing for
a deeper and more secure grip. The new grip geometry
with checkering in key areas on the front and back straps
combined with the redistribution of mass provided by the
accessory rail noticeably decreases the perceived recoil
from previous models and allows for more rapid target
acquisition and transitions.
The SP-01 was designed as a military and law enforcement
duty sidearm. The new model is currently in use by
security forces fighting the war on terrorism. Thanks to its
exceptional accuracy and superior handling characteristics,
the CZ 75 SP-01 has also found supporters in the field of
sport and target shooting. Its list of users on the competition
circuit include World Champions Adam Tyc and Angus
Hobdell (1st and 3rd place respectively in 2005‘s IPSC
championship, World Shoot XIV).

Designed by by CZ-USA Shooting team captain Angus Hobdell this pistol has all of the
match components required. Featuring the CZ Competition Hammer, for smooth DA and
light crisp SA trigger pull, CZ Competition Rear Sight, for a superior sight picture, CZ
Fiber Optic Front sight for faster sight acquisition. Modified Slide Release, Lighter recoil
and main spring for use with “minor power factor” competition ammunition. The Shadow
is trimmed out with CZ’s durable non-glare PolyCoat finish and slim coco bolo grips. Each
gun is tested and zeroed before leaving the CZ Custom Shop.

The P-01 is based on the CZ 75 design, but with improvements in Metallurgy,
quality control and design. The components of the P-01 are completely
interchangeable. This required some very careful re-design so that the
reliability and accuracy were not impaired. The P-01 is the only NATO spec
pistol on the market that is available to the public. After 3 years of some of
the most aggressive small arms testing ever, the CZ P-01 won the honor of
replacing the CZ 75’s previously used by the Czech National Police.
Reliability: The U.S. Army “Mean Rounds Between Failure” (MRBF)
requirement is 495 rounds for 9mm pistols. During testing of the CZ P-01,
the average number of stoppages was only 7 per 15,000 rounds fired, this is a
.05% failure rate, an MRBF rate of 2142 rounds!

The CZ 83 is a compact all-steel semi-automatic handgun, designed
on the blowback breech principle. The trigger mechanism is a DA/
SA type. The CZ 83 features an ambidextrous manual safety, and
magazine catch. The CZ 83 is an ideal concealed carry pistol.
The trigger mechanism operates in selective DA and SA
mode depending on the shooter’s preferences. Several safety
devices are used including a firing pin block and a manual
safety. Incorporating the CZ double-stack magazine design,
the little RAMI accommodates 10 rounds of 9mm Luger or 8
rounds of 40 S&W, plus 1 in the chamber.
