 Identify the common physical and behavioral health problems among adults with autism spectrum disorders.
 Discuss the benefits of the Florida International University EMBRACE program model of comprehensive,
integrated care for the adult with autism spectrum disorder.
 Summarize changes in access to services for patients moving from youth to adulthood.
 Discuss the range of post-secondary community settings.
 Identify resources that can support patients and their families in adulthood.

Parking
Special event parking will be available through the entrance to Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute (MCVI), located on the
south side of the Baptist Hospital campus. Approach from SW 94 Street (accessible from SW 87 Ave.). At the first Baptist
Hospital sign, turn right and make an immediate left. Look for special event parking on the right. Take the MCVI elevators
to the 3rd Floor and follow the signs to the Baptist Hospital Auditorium.
