Why We Sing!
When we give our students the opportunity to sing praises to God,
we are able to offer them another form of worship. Our Easter
assembly last week was a fine example of this.
I hope you had an opportunity to sing some of the Easter songs with
believers this weekend and were blessed by your worship
experience.
'Up from the grave he AROSE!!! With a mighty triumph over His
foes. He arose the victor from the dark domain and He lives forever
with His saints to reign. He arose, He arose, HALLELUJAH, Christ
AROSE!'
~ C. Soultanidis

Calendar
As I spent time with family and
friends over the weekend, we
were blessed to worship
together at a large church in
Kitchener. W ith over 1000
people in attendance, I want
you to imagine how the
singing sounded. With songs
of Christ’s victory over death
and the grave, it was as if all
fellow believers around us
were
expressing
their
testimony of faith, openly and unashamed. There is something
inspiring when a group of believers come together and raise their
voices in praise. For me, there is a holy and inspiring emotion that
wells up and overflows out of me. It struck me how singing is such a
rich and powerful way of expressing our faith. Singing has a unique
way of bringing our heart and soul together in helping us focus on
God and His story. It is so often through song that He speaks to me
and I feel spiritually strengthened.
