Both Branches have drop off boxes for proper disposal of old batteries! Donate old glasses to The Lions Club! Drop off boxes are at both branches. April 2015 Install a loyalty card app like “Key Ring Reward Card” or “CardStar” on your smartphone and follow the directions to add your library card. These apps are free and available for most smartphones. The Libraries have invested in new scanners which let us read cards stored on smartphones. We are excited to start promoting this new feature! The Cavan Monaghan Libraries offer free one-to-one tech help. Library staff can help you with iPads, iPhones, Android-based products as well as standard PCs. Bring your device and a list of questions! Call and schedule a lesson, it’s absolutely free!! Tuesday Evening Conversations The "Tuesday Evening Conversations" are an informal presentation/discussion about a topic of local interest. Please contact Erin if you have any suggestions of topics or speakers. Check out the list below for some of the Conversations lined up! April 28th: Prepping your house for sale—Linda Amor May 26th: Container gardening—Vegetables and Flowers together— Jill Williams will lead this interactive conversation which will take place outside in the Millbrook Branch parking lot. Please bring a pot (at least 10” in diameter). As we will be buying plants for this event, please register at Libraries to take part. There will be room for approximately 15 people to do planting, more are welcome to come and watch. Homebound Service The Cavan Monaghan Libraries and Community Care (Millbrook) are partnering and developing a program that will provide book delivery to residents in the Township of Cavan Monaghan. To be eligible for this program you must be unable to access the library independently. If you or someone you know could benefit from this free program please contact the library for more information.
