Denise is a former Social Worker and currently a Lecturer in the Department of Social
Work at Sussex University. She will be speaking about 'insider' research which
focussed on parental experiences of professional intervention following sudden,
unexpected child death. The process, findings and dissemination of this
research highlighted a number of significant implications for practice in this
emotionally challenging area and Denise will be exploring these within her talk.
