in advance what to expect if OSHA
comes knocking and be prepared!
This popular class is designed give
nursing home administrators and their
staff an understanding of how OSHA
inspections work and what OSHA
looks for when visiting a nursing home.
The presenters will review OSHA’s long
term care focus areas and explain
how to comply with the most common violations that
are cited and penalized during OSHA inspections at
nursing homes. OSHA’s recordkeeping rule, temporary worker initiative and updates on proposed rule
changes will also be on the agenda. This is your
chance to ask questions, clarify rumors and dispel
myths about how OSHA operates and to hear it all
straight from the source!
BRIAN OBERBECK, MS, BS, is a Compliance Officer for OSHA at
the Denver Area Office and has worked for the agency for
twelve years. He has a Mas¬ter’s Degree in Environmental
Health (Industrial Hygiene) from Colorado State University, and a
BS in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
LISA BENNETT, MS, BS, is a Compliance Officer for OSHA and has
worked for the agency for seven years. She has a Masters
Degree in Safety Security and Emergency Management and aBS in Human Factors Engineering, a discipline that includes ergo
nomics.

• Cancellations must be faxed to 303-839-8068 by the registration deadline date.

• Any registration received after the registration deadline will be charged an additional $25.00. Walk-ins will be charged
an additional $25.00. If you do not bring your handout to the program, you will be charged $5.00 per handout.
