INCENTIVE GRANT PROGRAM
Help secure your nonprofit’s future with a Premier Endowment-Building Incentive Grant
Finding innovative and collaborative ways to strengthen nonprofits is a top strategic priority at Community

their future and their ability to serve the community with great success, today and tomorrow.
Our growing list of Nonprofit Endowment Partners, those who have established endowment funds at the
Foundation, recognize that a strong nonprofit sector is fundamental to a community’s strength. With vibrant
and resilient nonprofits, we all succeed and our communities grow stronger.
Strengthening nonprofits grants
Endowment-building incentive grant programs are available exclusively to
Community First Foundation Nonprofit Endowment Partners. The incentive
programs focus on endowment building and motivate partners to inspire
charitable giving among their donors.
Program guidelines
Nonprofit Endowment Partners must meet the following criteria to be
eligible for the Premier Incentive Grant Program:







An existing, permanent endowment fund must be established at
Community First Foundation.
An application form must be submitted by October 1st prior to the
year $1 million is contributed.
The application informs the Foundation of your plans.
The $100,000 grant incentive is added to an existing endowment
fund after $1 million in new contributions are made.
Participation in the program should not be publicly announced until it has
been approved, in writing, by the Foundation.
Donors contribute directly to the Nonprofit Endowment Partner.
Fund growth through investment performance will not count toward
the $1 million contribution.
