Obedience skills are polished and refined under
more challenging circumstances. This allows the
dogs to get a strong foundation on their obedience
skills for future competition. Off lead work will be
a major focal point. Limit 8

4 WEEK CLASS
This class is for dog & handler teams interested in
continuing in obedience. This class will prep you
for competition and learn the signs and exercise to
be successful. Also great to hone in your skills
learned in the puppy/beginner classes. Limit 6

Beginner classes are for dogs 9 months or older
who have not had any prior training. The class
provides problem solving, attention and basic
obedience (sit, down, stand, come, stay, leave it).

THURSDAY EVENINGS 6 WEEK CLASS
March 26 – April 30
This class is for dogs and handlers who are new to
the Rally course. All exercises are done on lead.
This will prep you for showing in Rally Novice or
just for fun. Limit 6

A few tips for FIRST NIGHT – Welcome to DOTCORNY! Have fun learning how to train your dog!
Bring your dog, unless otherwise noted, and proof of vaccination. Have your dog on a plain buckle collar and a
6 foot cloth or leather leash. If you use another training collar, bring it with you. No Flexi leads are allowed in
the building. Please leave them at home. PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOG CLOSE TO YOU WHEN ENTER THE
BUILDING. Your dog may be friendly but not all dogs are. All dogs must be on leash when entering and
leaving the building regardless of class/training level. Dress comfortably for training. Dress in layers as the
temperature of the building can vary. We advise during the winter months that you bring a sweatshirt with you
in case it is chilly in the building. Wear sneakers or rubber soled shoes that you can run in. Bring motivating
treats and a toy for your dog. Observers are welcome and may want to bring their own chair. We have one
designated, well-marked potty area. Please do not potty your dogs anywhere else as this is actually a violation
of our lease, and please remember to pick up after your dog.

NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS ARE ALLOWED IN CLASSES. INSTRUCTORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO LIMIT
PARTICIPATION IN THEIR CLASSES AT THEIR DISCRETION. ALSO, IF A DOG IS NOT IN THE
APPROPRIATE CLASS LEVEL, ANOTHER MAY BE RECOMMENDED BY THE INSTRUCTOR.
