The Team class will be for teams of any four dogs with four handlers. Five dogs may be entered,
one to be considered an alternate for which no entry fee will be required. A separate Official AKC
Entry Form must be completed in full for each dog entered (including the Alternate). No dog may
be entered on more than one team.
The dogs on a team will perform the exercises simultaneously and will be judged as specified for
the Novice class, except that a Drop-on-Recall will be used in place of the Recall exercise.
In addition to the Official AKC Entry Form for each dog, please complete the following TEAM
ENTRY FORM, indicating the dogs/handlers on the team, and optional Team Name. Submit this
form with your entries.

GROUNDS INFORMATION
The Trial will be held on the Music Peristyle Lawn area at Cal-State East Bay in Hayward. There
is to be NO DRIVING ONTO THE GROUNDS. Be prepared to haul your equipment along a paved
walkway to the trial site. Limited shaded areas are available under trees for setups, but you may
want to bring canopies to protect your dogs.

From Oakland Area, Take Highway 580 Eastbound to Hayward and exit on the Hayward exit.
Continue along Foothill Blvd for 1.5 miles, stay to the left and merge onto Mission Blvd. Turn
left onto Carlos Bee Blvd, go up hill, and stay to the far right to enter the campus. At stop
sign, turn left and proceed to rear of campus. Turn right at stop sign, and right into Lot K
(Theatre).
From San Jose Area, take Hwy 880 North to Hayward. Exit on the Jackson Street exit eastbound.
Turn right at first signal onto Santa Clara which becomes Harder Road. Follow Harder to
campus.
From SF Peninsula, take the San Mateo Bridge (Hwy 92) east to Hayward. Continue past the
intersection with Hwy 880. Turn right at first signal onto Santa Clara which becomes Harder
Road. Follow Harder to campus.
Parking is free on weekends at CSUEB.
Rally entrants MUST specify dog’s jump height on the entry for Advanced and Excellent classes.

To be acceptable, an entry must be submitted with the required entry fee on an official
American Kennel Club entry form, or a photocopy of the official AKC entry form with
agreement and rules on the reverse.
PLEASE TYPEWRITE OR NEATLY PRINT ALL ENTRIES. Please use black or blue ink
when writing entries. The Club assumes no responsibility for a wrong entry.
Entries without fees cannot be accepted. No entry shall be accepted which specifies any
condition as to its acceptance.
Unsigned, incomplete, or telephone entries will not be accepted. Faxed entries are allowed
with credit card information.
The owner is responsible for errors on entry forms, for entering the same dog twice, or for
entering a dog in a class in which it is ineligible to compete, regardless of who makes such
errors. No dog wrongly entered in a class may be transferred to another class after close of
entries. Changes, additions, corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to
close of entries. Changes by telephone are not acceptable.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT of entries will be made soon after the closing date.
Should such acknowledgement not be received by an exhibitor seven (7) days prior to the
Trial, please notify the Trial Secretary.
Consult Judging Program for time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging may be
excused after their class has been judged. We suggest dogs be present one hour before
scheduled time of judging.
Exhibitors and handlers alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging
ring. The Club and the Trial Secretary assume no responsibility in this regard.
The Management will exercise every precaution for the safety of dogs exhibited, but it must
be understood that neither the Club nor the management will be responsible for loss or injury.
Dogs must be kept on leash except when in the judging ring.
There shall be no drilling nor intensive or corrective training of dogs on the Trial grounds or
premises.
In case of a tie for any prizes, any dog that is not present for a run-off forfeits the right to the
prize.
No special award will be mailed or delivered. An exhibitor whose dog is eligible for a special
award must be present or appoint a representative to accept the award for him.
Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by
Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of Show Committee. If because
of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible
to open or to complete the trial, no refund of entry fees will be made. Extreme weather
conditions, such as, but not limited to hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat or earthquakes,
must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors, and spectators. The
well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it
is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fees will be
made.
CLASS TRANSFERS (“Move-Ups”) will be permitted in accordance with Chapter 1, Section
16 of Obedience Regulations. Please notify the Trial Secretary in writing as soon as possible,
but at least 30 minutes prior to judging.
BITCHES IN SEASON are not permitted to compete. If a female is withdrawn from
competition for coming into season and the Trial Secretary is notified no later than ½ hour
prior to the start of the first class, then the club will refund the entry fee. A processing fee
of $10.00 per entry will be retained. A signed veterinarian’s letter stating the bitch is in
season must be provided as documentation with the request or within one week of the trial
at the latest to receive a refund.

SPECIAL RALLY AWARD
HIGHEST COMBINED SCORE IN RALLY ADVANCED B & EXCELLENT B - To be awarded to
the dog earning the highest combined score in the Rally Advanced B and Rally Excellent B classes,
qualifying scores required in both classes. In the case of several dogs having the same combined score,
then times from both classes will be added, with lowest combined time being the winner. In the case that
there is a tie of both combined scores and combined times, then the winner will be determined by run-off
at the conclusion of Rally judging using the Excellent B course used earlier in the trial. Handlers may
have 5 minutes to re-walk the course.
WARM-UP RING
A Warm-Up Ring will be available for exhibitors, starting at 7:30 AM. There is a five minute time limit per
dog. Sign-ups will be on a first come, first served basis. Food and toys are allowed but please do not
leave food on the ground. NO CORRECTIONS OR INTENSIVE TRAINING are allowed in the warm-up
ring or on the trial grounds.

AGREEMENT
I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem
sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity
to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club,
their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or
lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or
volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any
claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by
the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we)
personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the
aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.
Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the
aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability
imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death
at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account
of damage to property arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such
injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may

(Variety) If you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular
variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in, over 13
in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored,
white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and
Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of
Record and dogs which according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose
championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period
of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
(Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided,
then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e.,
age division, color division, weight division.
A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered
dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries close
after the date acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the
dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to A.K.C. (For complete rule
refer to Chapter 11, Section 3).
Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience, and Rally trials should mark Breed as “All-American Dog/Mixed Breed.”
Sire and Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.

AGREEMENT
I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem
sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity
to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club,
their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or
lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or
volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any
claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by
the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we)
personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the
aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.
Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the
aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability
