You can access peer tutoring, one on one help from subject teachers and also get Tongan language and Samoan language tutoring. The centre operates every Wednesday from 3.30pm to 5pm. See you there. All French conversation classes today P3 Today lunchtime (SCO) For Year 11-13 students: Come at lunchtime for French conversation classes today. Bring your lunch and French-speaking friends and become fluent with the help of Gaelle, our 2015 French Language Assistant. All Europe Grand Tour 2016: EGGS Staffroom Today 7pm (WRI) INFORMATION EVENING:To all current Year 11 and Year 12 students and their parents/caregivers interested in the Classics, Latin and Art History Grand Tour to Europe in April/May 2016: there will be an information evening at 7pm on Thursday May 14th in the EGGS staffroom. General NEW STUDENTS PIZZA LUNCH: L6/L7 Monday lunchtime (zRAM) The school community has organised a Pizza lunch for all the new students in years 10 to 13, this coming Monday 11th May. Pizza and drinks are supplied and we would love you all to come. Years 10 and 11 meet in L6 and year 12 and 13 meet in L7. We hope to see you all there! General AGS/EGGS MODEL UN WORKSHOP: D13 Today lunchtime (zRAM) We have another workshop coming up today lunchtime in D13 to help you prepare for this Sunday. It is totally optional but we plan to have lots of fun in a mock-up committee session so as many people as possible are welcome. Sports CURLING: There is a curling "Have a go day" on Thursday 7th May, at Paradice Ice Skating Rink, Avondale. Starts at 7.00pm but be there at 6.50pm. No experience reqiured, just turn up with friends and warm clothes. Even if you just want to try it, come along! Year 13 Visual Art Scholarship meeting A11 Fri 15 May (DEM) There will be meeting for all year 13 Art (Sculpture, Photography, Painting, Printmaking, Design) students who are interested in entering the Scholarship exam on the 15th of May during lunchtime in A11. There is a trip to Japan in April/May 2016 for two weeks. If you are interested, please come to P9 to get an application form this week and next week from Ms Harrison. All GERMAN HOMESTAYS IN AUGUST All (BLA) We have just established a sister school partnership with St. Marien in Regensburg, Germany. As part of this 5 students from Germany will come this year in August to stay with host families and attend school and 5 of our students will get to go to Germany next year. I am looking for people who will be interested in hosting a German student this August. Those who host students now will have priority to go to Germany next year, but you can still host a student even if you are not planning to go to Germany. Anyone interested, please email mblanco@apps.eggs.school.nz as soon as possible.
