Bring your favorite game!
In this issue of our Messenger Kids’ Edition, you will find
a sheet with blank calendars. No, the printers are working
fine! I would like to encourage you and your family to take
some time at the beginning of each month to fill out the
calendar together.
Have each family member contribute by filling in a name of
a person your family can pray for. Commit to pray
together each day for the person you have listed on that
particular day.
Saturday, April 4
10 am – 12 Noon
Playground and Gym
Join us for an Easter egg
hunt, inflatables, games,
and other Easter themed
activities!
My hope is that this will give your family the opportunity
to spend more time with each other and stay in-touch
with how each of your friends are doing.

Preschool (Birth – 2yrs.)
Younger Children (Ages 3 yrs. – 1st Grade)
Let the fun begin when Jesus is welcomed in!
Children will interact with familiar, everyday objects that help them
understand what God is all about. It works because it’s fun,
and it’s fun because it works!
They sing, play, color, hear stories, and more all with a biblical message
they’ll grasp, even at their young age. You’ll help them build
a foundation for life – a life of loving Jesus!

Curriculum
Older Children (2nd -5th Grade)
Unique internet-based curriculum allows teachers to customize each lesson.
A powerful tool for helping children explore key biblical truths – all with the
goal of helping them LIVE Jesus-centered lives as they discover what the
Bible is all about.

The Bible Drill program is an exciting way for children to hide
God's Word in their hearts. Children who are in the third,
fourth, and fifth grades are eligible to participate. The
purpose is to help children increase their knowledge of the
Bible, develop skills in locating Bible books and key passages,
memorize the names of the books of the Bible in order plus
selected Bible verses and key passages, and learn how to
apply the Bible to their lives. Join Mr. Kyle and Ms. Jennifer
Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. in Room 218.

“Egg Your Neighbor!”
A new take on an old tradition: The kids will “egg” their neighbors’
homes with a faith-filled surprise Easter egg hunt!
Issue [#] :: [Date]
March/April

Vacation Bible
School 2015
Join us Friday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m. (after the Good Friday
Service). We will meet at the Chick-fil-a on Skyland Blvd., eat
dinner, and caravan to each other’s neighborhood to “egg” a few
neighbors!
Did You Know…
Kids who eat dinner with their families are less likely to drink,
smoke, or use drugs, according to a 10-year study from the
National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia
University. And no surprise: It’s better for kids’ nutrition, too!

COMPUTER CHECK-IN SYSTEM
We seek to teach children that church is a place where
they can learn not only about Jesus, but a place where
they are loved and a place where they are safe.
As part of making church a safe place for children, we
will be implementing a new check-in system. We have
been doing a paper version of this on Sunday morning
for several months now, and hopefully you have gotten
in the habit of checking your children in and out of class.
In the month of March we will begin the transition to a
computer-based system at all of our Children’s Ministry
events.
Look for someone with a check-in badge and they will be
happy to help you through the process! We hope this will
make your children feel safe and give you peace of mind.
