The NEXT CPR class at Grace Lutheran Church is:
You’re expecting a baby! Those can be the most exciting, and
frightening, words someone may hear. Bringing
a new life into this world, your world, can be both
and exciting time and stressful time. It’s a time
of change. BIG change. You do not know what
to expect and may not be totally prepared for the
crisis that this will bring to your life, the life of
both parents-to-be. It can be overwhelming,
confusing and troublesome. But, never fear,
your Stephen Ministry Team is HERE! We have been
spending time during our continuing education classes lately
learning how to care specifically for those in the crisis of
pregnancy and childbirth, not only mothers, but fathers too. If
you can relate to this and would like to talk to a Stephen
Minister, reach out to one of our Stephen Leaders (Pastor
John, Ruth Anderson, Mickey Castor, and Karen Jankowski) or
one of our Stephen Ministers (you’ll recognize us, we’re the
ones wearing the blue name tags). Don’t hesitate, we’re here
for you.
Call Joan Beeman at (813) 416-1694 for more details.
Saturday, May 30th , 2015 from 9AM- 12PM

Motown Moolah -
We have added on two additional
youth for our service trip, so we now have 10 youth and 3
chaperones attending the National Youth Gathering in Detroit
this summer. This will be an amazing opportunity for our youth
to hang out with approximately 35,000 other Lutherans while
serving those in need in the Detroit Metropolitan community.
We have received donations of $4,314.00 so far. Thank you!!
If you are interested in donating, we still have envelopes of
different monetary values to choose from. The Motown Moolah
board can be found in the Connections room. We have also
added some extra envelopes if you would like to choose a
different amount to donate.

"Teal Bag" Update The Homeless in the Community committee will be collecting the
"teal bags" TODAY, 4/26. The project for April is to gather needed
supplies. Donations of infant diapers, baby wipes, baby wash or
lotion, shampoo/conditioner combo for older children, deodorant,
toothbrushes and toothpaste are what is needed. The donations
will be packed up and delivered to Eckerd Raising Hope on
Monday, April 27th.
May's "teal bag" project will be collecting non-perishable food
items for the Homeless Women Veteran's Food Pantry. The bags
will be handed out May 3rd and returned on May 10th and 17th.
This is a good time to watch for sales and bogos.
In June we will collect gently used or new t-shirts for the Kaye
Prox Food Pantry at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior which will
benefit their homeless clients. We have been supporting this
ministry for the past few summers.
The Homeless in the Community committee appreciate all the
support Grace members give toward the "teal bag" projects.
Thank you!
REMINDER…
Do You Speak a FOREIGN Language?
Worship & Music would like to bring back the use of multiple

Please notify the office when there is an update to the
“Prayer” list on the back page. It is just as important to us
that we have the correct updates and information on your
