SUNDAY NEWS April 26, 2015 To know Christ and to make Christ Known - “Connecting people to people, people to Christ, people to their role in the world” I am the Good Shepherd – John 10:11 . **Congregational Meeting** TODAY at 12:15 PM - In the sanctuary And YOU can do it! All are encouraged to attend! Election of Council Officers & discussion regarding refinancing our mortgage The NEXT CPR class at Grace Lutheran Church is: You’re expecting a baby! Those can be the most exciting, and frightening, words someone may hear. Bringing a new life into this world, your world, can be both and exciting time and stressful time. It’s a time of change. BIG change. You do not know what to expect and may not be totally prepared for the crisis that this will bring to your life, the life of both parents-to-be. It can be overwhelming, confusing and troublesome. But, never fear, your Stephen Ministry Team is HERE! We have been spending time during our continuing education classes lately learning how to care specifically for those in the crisis of pregnancy and childbirth, not only mothers, but fathers too. If you can relate to this and would like to talk to a Stephen Minister, reach out to one of our Stephen Leaders (Pastor John, Ruth Anderson, Mickey Castor, and Karen Jankowski) or one of our Stephen Ministers (you’ll recognize us, we’re the ones wearing the blue name tags). Don’t hesitate, we’re here for you. Call Joan Beeman at (813) 416-1694 for more details. Saturday, May 30th , 2015 from 9AM- 12PM Sign up early for class reservations. We anticipate spaces will go fast. We have received donations of $4,314.00 so far. Thank you!! If you are interested in donating, we still have envelopes of different monetary values to choose from. The donations will be packed up and delivered to Eckerd Raising Hope on Monday, April 27th. May's "teal bag" project will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Homeless Women Veteran's Food Pantry. The bags will be handed out May 3rd and returned on May 10th and 17th.
