ABOUT THIS DIRECTORY
This directory has been compiled by Headway Cambridgeshire with
funding from The Big Lottery. The aim is to provide a comprehensive
guide to a range of support and leisure services that people with a brain
injury, their families and carers may require or wish to use as they
progress from hospital services into the community and beyond.
This list is not exhaustive but should give people an idea of the services
that are available to them. If further information is required please
contact the service listed directly or phone Headway Cambridgeshires
Community Brain Injury Advisors on 01223 576550.

ABOUT HEADWAY CAMBRIDGESHIRE
Headway Cambridgeshire is a local charity dedicated to the support of
people affected by brain injury.
We offer a comprehensive range of services designed to support adults
with an acquired brain injury and their families.
These services include;
Specialist Day Services - Provided across Cambridgeshire; currently in
Cambridge, Huntingdon and Peterborough. The service offers
rehabilitation, peer support and social opportunities to people with a brain
injury aged 18 70.
YourTime - A unique service providing personal one to one volunteer
support to help individuals with a brain injury to access opportunities within
their own community in order to achieve a personal goal and increase
independence.
Community Brain Injury Advisors - Offer information, advice and support
to clients with a brain injury and their families and carers in the community.
This can be on a wide range of issues and in a number of forms including
telephone support and advice, home visits, social groups, signposting and
community education and awareness.
Neurotrauma Support Co-ordinator - Based at Addenbrookes Hospital
in Cambridge offering support and advice to patients and their families from
admission to leaving the hospital and at the Neurotrauma clinic.
