ABOUT HEADWAY CAMBRIDGESHIRE Headway Cambridgeshire is a local charity dedicated to the support of people affected by brain injury. We offer a comprehensive range of services designed to support adults with an acquired brain injury and their families. These services include; Specialist Day Services - Provided across Cambridgeshire; currently in Cambridge, Huntingdon and Peterborough. The service offers rehabilitation, peer support and social opportunities to people with a brain injury aged 18 70. YourTime - A unique service providing personal one to one volunteer support to help individuals with a brain injury to access opportunities within their own community in order to achieve a personal goal and increase independence. Community Brain Injury Advisors - Offer information, advice and support to clients with a brain injury and their families and carers in the community. This can be on a wide range of issues and in a number of forms including telephone support and advice, home visits, social groups, signposting and community education and awareness. Neurotrauma Support Co-ordinator - Based at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge offering support and advice to patients and their families from admission to leaving the hospital and at the Neurotrauma clinic.
