On October 19 2014, Belcher, then 22, of Parma, gave the 14-year-old victim alcohol and coerced her
into participating in sexual activity.
On March 30, 2015, Belcher entered a plea of guilty to one count of Unlawful Sexual Conduct With A
Minor. Sentencing is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.

Media Synopsis:
On June 25, 2014, McClain, then 18, of Maple Heights, shot the victim on Watson Road in Maple
Heights. The victim died soon after being transported to South Pointe Hospital.
On February 17, 2015, Hinton entered a plea of guilty to one count each of Attempted
Tampering With Evidence and Attempted Obstructing Justice. He was sentenced to 18 months in
prison.
On March 30, 2015, McClain entered a plea of guilty to one count each of Involuntary
Manslaughter, Felonious Assault, Discharge of Firearm On Or Near Prohibited Premises and
Having Weapons Under Disability.
Sentencing is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.

Charges:
DNA from two rape kits links Keith Mitchell, 32 of Cleveland, to a sexual assault on July 1, 2002,
and another on August 28, 2005. Both victims are taken into an apartment where they were
sexually assaulted. Both victims went to the hospital for rape kits. Mitchell used a gun and knife
to threaten the victim of the 2002 incident and choked and bit the victim in the 2005 incident.
