Specialist Sport Brochure - Roma Mitchell Secondary College
Roma Mitchell Secondary College
Roma Mitchell Secondary College has been built to provide a rigorous, quality
education for families living in the inner northern suburbs of Adelaide. The school is
designed to support students aspiring to University, TAFE and other relevant
community pathways. The school is made up of three distinct campuses; girls only
education, coeducation and special education. Students have the broader curriculum
advantages of a large school and the security and support of being part of a smaller
learning community.
The Specialist Sport Program (SSP) is offered from years 8-12 providing elite and
talented students a means of maximising their potential as athletes, while developing
their educational, emotional and social well-being.
Specialist
Sport Program
Students in our Specialist Sport Program will spend lesson time developing their skills
whilst working with elite coaches in state of the art facilities at the school and/or in
the community.
RMSC- Specialist Sport Program (SSP)
Roma Mitchell Secondary College offers a Specialist Sport and Physical Education
program. We aim to achieve best practice in Physical Education and Sports in a
manner that promotes talented athletes while developing healthy lifestyles for all
members of the school community.
In achieving this goal we have established three complimentary programs:
The Specialist Sport Program (SSP)
The Physical Education Program (PE)
The School Sports Program
The Specialist Sports Program is an innovative, exciting and demanding course that
