ROL-PARK VILLAGE 8049 Veterans Hwy., Millersville, MD 21108 www.rolparkvillage.com 410-969-9067 A 55+ Community April 1, 2015 SPRING CLEAN-UP MEAP FORMS YARD SALE ANYONE? Winter was rough and is trying to hang on, but in a few more weeks we will evidence the spring flowers, the green grass and warmer temps. May 31st is the deadline for the Maryland Energy Assistance Program this year. Because it may take 45 days to process, this means you need to send in the application NOW. I have one application left in the office, but you can also apply online at www.dhr.maryland.gov/ohep. You won’t get all the necessary forms online (I have the remaining ones in the office); or go to 117 Delaware Ave., Glen Burnie, 21061. Know that eligibility is based on income. Last fall’s yard sale was not well attended. That was possibly due to the fact that it was held in October and it was COLD! I’m willing to give it one more try this spring, on Saturday, May 16th from 8:30—Noon. Rain date will be Sunday the 17th, same time. With spring comes the time to fix up, clean up, and spruce up your lots, your porches and mobile homes as needed. Inspections will take place in mid-May. Sometimes your mobile home just needs power washing, clutter needs picked up on porches, fences painted, etc. Notices will be sent out to those who need to make some improvements within a specific time period. Extensions can be granted under certain circumstances. If you receive no notice, everything is ok with your home. A resource manual of all types of professionals is located in the office for your convenience, many of whom come residentrecommended. Check with us if you need a professional.
