CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
BASIC STRENGTH: A total body strength workout that will strengthen your whole body. Challenge yourself to new heights
and find out what strength training is all about.
BEGINNER TAI CHI: Relaxing body movements meant to increase range of motion. Great for fall prevention!
CARDIO BOOT CAMP: High energy full body workout. This class will give you an intense combination high intensity
cardio intervals, calisthenics, boxing, and step aerobics.
CARDIO LITE: This moderate intensity cardiovascular workout is designed to burn fat and calories. Safe and beneficial for
EVERYONE and “ideal” for the new exerciser and those needing an endurance workout that is easy and joint friendly.
CARDIO MIX: This class is a FUN, high energy class taught in a way that everyone can find the right intensity.
CARDIO TABATAS: Raise the bar on your current aerobic workout and challenge yourself to higher intensity training
intervals. Appropriate for all exercise levels. Lots of fun and lots of sweat involved.
CIRCUITS: Cardio intervals mixed within stations--could also include strength training.
CORE BALANCE: Increase your core strength and stability through this class.
FIT MOMS: This class is designed for parents who want to get fit and spend time with their kids. This class will incorporate
power walking, running, resistance, and stretching into a one hour class with kids, parents and strollers.
FITNESS 101: Focuses on cardiovascular endurance. Also includes muscular strength, muscular endurance and
flexibility.
FUNCTIONAL WALK: Increase your overall cardiovascular fitness through challenging, fast paced, power, and moderate
paced walking. Perfect for the new exerciser or active older adult!
HIIT: This High-Intensity-Interval-Training class will maximize your workout and increase your anaerobic capacity through
challenging total body exercises and structured intervals.
INTERVAL INSANITY: The perfect mix of cardio and body weight strength intervals to burn calories and build lean muscle!
LINE DANCING: The time will just fly as you move to many different types of music. A must for anyone who LOVES to
dance!
MIGHTY FAMILY FUN AEROBICS: A combination of cardiovascular training, stretching, strength, and balance exercises
disguised as FUN movements and games choreographed to music.
RUGGED WARRIOR: Challenging conditioning drills and cardio drills using power ropes, sand bags, and agility apparatus.
Class will include plyometrics, running and jumping.
SILVERSNEAKERS® CLASSIC: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase
muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills.
SILVERSNEAKERS® YOGA: This class will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga
poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range
of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
SPORTS CARDIO: This class will include cardio, agility, balance, plyometrics and strength training rolled into one amazing
workout. You don’t have to be an athlete to participate, but you will feel like one when you are done.
STEP PLUS INTERVALS: Be prepared to work hard as you step up on a platform height of your choosing. Time
will FLY as you complete simple step patterns that will make you “think and do”. Expect intervals too.
TABATA CIRCUITS: A fun, energizing workout that incorporates the use of different types of workout equipment. It will be
taught in Tabata style which is great for all levels of workout enthusiasts.
WWOD: Weight Workout Of the Day. Expect a new strength workout every time!
Y30: 30 minutes packed full of high intensity interval training with short recovery time and moderate weight training.
ZUMBA FOR BEGINNERS: Perfect for the new to Zumba participant!
ZUMBA®: Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow
participants to dance away their worries. This workout is FUN AND EASY TO DO.
ZUMBA® STEP: All of the Zumba fitness-party fun you love while using the step for toning and strengthening the legs.

BODYPUMP™: The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your
major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises. Great music and awesome instructors inspire you to get
the results you came for – and fast.

CORE STRENGTH: This advanced level class focuses on core stability and progression in strength training. All muscle
groups are worked in each class. Format is based on the latest science to effectively build strength. Instructor is a
certified personal trainer.

FITNESS BOXING: Learn basic boxing fundamentals in a controlled fitness environment. Total body strength with
emphasis on increasing coordination, core strength, and stabilization. Class will utilize gloves and hand wraps.

GFF YOGA FOR ATHLETES: This class is for anyone who works out hard! Are you tight? Did you know increasing your
flexibility can decrease your injuries?

KIDS YOGA: (Ages 6-9 or 10-13) Fun, Fitness and Flexibility! Kids will experience the joy and vitality of being in a body;
connect to their breath; find self-compassion, self-acceptance and confidence; and relax…all in a non-competitive
environment.

YOGA: This class focuses on flexibility, breathing, & stress reduction utilizing traditional yoga forms anyone can do!
