VISIT TO THE DOLL & TEDDY BEAR MUSEUM Wishing Susan the Best Friday, July 10 11:00am @ Susan Quinlan Doll & Teddy Bear Museum & Library, 122 W. Canon Perdido St., Santa Barbara Entrance fee: $5.00 per senior / Handicap accessible This outing is for our current members & volunteers (who may also bring their friends, or their grandkids, with them). Join us as we explore the museum has the "largest collection of dolls & teddy bears in 150 display cases and the largest research library of related books in the world." And don't miss the museum's store with current and old dolls, teddy bears, accessories, books and magazines. It includes one-of-a-kind, limited editions, out-ofprint, and hard to find dolls, teddy bears and publications. Contact us or click here for more information. We've been incredibly lucky to have the wonderful Susan Brindle as our Interim Membership & Volunteer Coordinator for the past 6 months. As we work to fill her position, we want to acknowledge Susan's incredible ability to jump in and get acquainted, build relationships with our members & volunteers, her wonderful uniqueness, and the true value she's added to SB Village. Save the Dates WRITING GROUP Thursday, July 23 11:00am-1:00pm @ a private residence* in Santa Barbara Open to our members & volunteers, this is a group for writing and telling our stories in writing, rather than through conversation. It's good both for people who already like to write, and those who want to learn by participating in a positive environment. The group leader is non-judgmental and encouraging.
