Fundraiser - have some fun and help make
the next project possible.
From the sight of your bird dog working
through a field, to the sound of a cackling
rooster taking to wing; you understand
how keeping our wildlife habitat healthy,
our water clear, and soils clean are all
deeply connected to a vibrant outdoors for
the future enjoyment of us and our
children.

Individuals and companies are encouraged to

Forever does not have paid staff. Highly qualified
volunteers have been working to restore habitat in
southeastern Alberta for over two decades and
their reward is seeing the return of pheasants,
other upland birds and other wildlife.

Hunting Sled –Crafted by Dale Eslinger
Sturdily constructed sled that can easily haul a large
buck out of the coulees (Note: Mule deer shown in the
photo is not included)
UHMW plastic is fastened to the bottom of the 2 inch
wide runners to significantly reduce friction with snow
or ice. This feature reduces pulling effort as much as
80% compared with dragging an animal
Quality materials are used such as exterior grade fir
plywood and maple hardwood. Waterproof glue is used
for parts of the assembly
The sled deck is made up of maple spindles that have
been mortised into the runners. The sled is held
together by turnbuckle hardware. This method on
construction provides for flexing of the sled over rough
terrain
