Construction of Sagrada Familia began in 1882 and is not yet
finished! It was designed by the famous Spanish architect,
Antonio Gaudi,
Gaudi combining Art Nouveau and Gothic styles. He
died in 1926. The name means “The holy family” and the entire
building has a rich religious symbolism.
