BRAM Offshore Launches Pension Plan
Submitted by Luiz Oliveira
ln July 2011, BRAM, along with BrasilPrev, launched its Pension Plan Program, the BRAM PREV, with the welfare of the employees
in mind. BRAM PREV will be managed by BrasilPrev Seguros e Previdência, which was founded in 1993 with its main shareholders,
Banco do Brasil and Principal Financial Group. Together they combine stability and the credibility of one of the major financial
institutions in the country, along with the knowledge and high technology of major managers of United States Complementary
Pension Plans.
During recent pre-embark meetings, the Company's HR Department and a BrasilPrev representative informed employees of the plan
details. Ali employees contracted by the Edison Chouest Offshore Group in Brazil are eligible for the plan.
Major advantages include: a 100% company match (per contractual rules); special commercial tax conditions (no deposit fees and
reduced withdrawal taxes); multipie investment fund options; and succession planning (if something should happen to you, the
accumulated reserve is available to your beneficiaries, which will not be part of your inventoried assets).
Participants will receive quarterly customized bank statements informing them of their detailed plan positions. Through this, the
participants will have the opportunity to follow up on their balances, contributions made, the plan's profitability and much more
information. Additional consults are possible through the website: www.brasilprev.com.br.
Luiz Oliveira, Payroll Coordinator for BRAM Offshore, says, "The pension plan is the ideal solution to take care of our financial future
and our families. This is the best option to complement the INSS retirement and ensure a better financial stability in the future;
furthermore, it has the best profitability of any other investments such as savings. ln addition to this is the fact that the company is
making the contribution along with the employee, which instantly doubles our investment. The plan also serves to retain our talents
and to differentiate us from our competitors by adding value to our benefits. I recommend to ali employees: Sign up for BRAM PREV
and have a more peaceful future:'
For questions concerning BRAM PREV, please contact BrasilPrev by e-mail at relacionamento@brasilprev.com.br. Responses will be
sent within 48 hours.
Fisherman Rescued by the
M/V CAMPOS CAPTAIN
Members af the CAMPOS CAPTAIN crew with the rescued fisherman
The rescued fisherman is helped abaard by the CAMPOS CAPTAIN crew.
Submitted by Master Oayvison Sarah Limo
On July 10th, while conducting operations with the platform
Ocean Ambassador, the MN CAMPOS CAPTAIN responded to
a call from the platform Ocean Star. The platform advised that
they had rescued two fishermen, but a third was still missing.
The general alarm sounded, the entire crew gathered and
instructions were given. After approximately one hour of
searching, the 57-year-old man was spotted and rescued, along
with his 15-foot fishing boato The fisherman was found alert
and oriented, but extremely impaired due to being two days
without food or water under adverse weather conditions.
"The weather conditions were not favorable for easy viewing,
especially due to the swells, but our properly trained and
organized crew led to the successful rescue. The Campos Oil
Basin faces numerous occurrences this time of the year;' said
Master Dayvison.

C-Innovation Expands Operations
in Brazil
Submitted by A/ex Maia
Edison Chouest Offshore affiliate C-Innovation specializes in providing the services of underwater robotics better known as ROVs,
an English acronym for remotely operated vehicles. Founded in 2007 and currently operating 29 ROVs, C-Innovation began its
activities in Brazil in 200S.
Among some of the tirst C-Innovation activities in Brazil involved two ROVs onboard the SSCV (semi-submersible crane vessel)
HERMOD from Heerema Marine Contractors in 2009. The primary scope of work included the installation of two tixed platforms in
the Peregrino tield for the c1ient, Statoil.
ln June of 2011, Ensco's drillship, DEEP OCEAN CLARION,
arrived in Brazil with two C-Innovation ROVs onboard for
a three-year BP exploratory drilling campaign.
ln August 2011, C-Innovation began the mobilization
of an ROV onboard the AHTS (anchor handling towing
supply) vessel OLlN CONQUEROR, a Chouest vessel
chartered to OGX, tasked to give support to the anchor
jobs associated with the c1ient's floating production,
storage and off1oading (FPSO) unit.
Another ongoing project is with the RSV (ROV support
vessel) JOE GRIFFIN, which arrived in Brazil in September.
The RSV JOE GRIFFIN was a PSV (platform supply vessel)
converted to an RSV with the addition of a 1OO-ton winch and
crane, stern A-frame, bridge extension module, launch system
and an ROV. The vessel and ROV are contracted to Petrobras,
specitically for MIS (underwater inspection and maintenance), for
the next tive years, with a possibility to renew for tive more years.
By year's end, C-Innovation of Brazil will have four ROVs, with
many more to come!
