Invitation Greetings! It is my pleasure to invite you to the 4th annual Honeywell European Technology Symposium scheduled to be held on March 11th, 2015 at the Hotel International, Brno, Czech Republic. This event brings together technologists, engineers and marketing experts to interact, network and share ideas on evolving market needs, technology trends and innovation, voice of customer and market back. The objective is to better understand regional market and support organic growth in Europe. It will be a great opportunity to discuss evolving market needs, technology trends, innovation, voice of customer and market back. Perspectives on the subjects amongst participants will vary and hence the Symposium will enable us to build on new ideas through exchange and discussions amongst diverse group experts. The objective is also to provide a platform to come together to collaborate, innovate, connect, and reflect on how we can do more for our business and our customers. Ground Transportation How To Travel to Brno by Taxi The transportation from/to all available airports (Brno, Vienna, Prague and Bratislava) can be arranged through our taxi vendors (see below). How To Travel to Brno by Bus From Vaclav Havel Airport Prague: To go from the Prague Airport to Brno use bus company called Student Agency. From Brno International Airport Turany: There is bus line number 76 that goes every half an hour from the airport directly to the city centre. The name of the airport bus stop is Letište Turany and is located in front of the arrival hall. From Vienna International Airport Schwechat: (in German Brno is Brunn) You can choose from two bus companies – Student Agency and Tourbus. Student Agency is recommended from our part because the buses are more comfortable and have better services. After leaving the new arrival hall, go right, where is the new bus station. It is approx 200 m away from the original station. How To Travel to Brno by Train From Brno International Airport Turany: There is no train connection. From Vaclav Havel Airport Prague: At first, you have to get to Prague railway station Hlavní nádraí. But then you need to pay cash. Once at the train station you need a ticket for the Trip Prague Hlavní nádrazí to Brno Hlavní nádrazí. For timetables for the train to Brno and online reservation visit http://www.cd.cz/en The duration and the price of the journey depends on the type of train you will use (usually it takes around 3 hours). Brno Hlavní nádrazí is located downtown. From there to the Best Western Premier Hotel International Brno the best option is to take a taxi. From Vienna International Airport Schwechat If you want to go from Vienna Airport to Brno by train, at first you have to get to the Vienna railway station (Meidling Bahnhof). You can go by bus from the airport, price for the bus is 7€, duration is 30 minutes, you have to get off on Wien Dorfelstrasse. The trains from Vienna to Brno go about 8 times per day, the price and duration depends on a type of the train (usually it take 2 hours and 30 minutes to get to Brno). You will arrive to Brno railway station called Hlavní nádrazí located in the city centre. Check timetables and reservations here http://www.cd.cz/en/ From Bratislava Airport M. R. Štefánika: At first, you have to get to the Bratislava railway station Hlavna stanica. From the airport there is a public bus connection. The number of the bus you have to take is 61 (direction Hlavna stanice). The bus stop for this bus is located in front of the arrival hall Terminal B. Tickets you can buy at the Terminal B or in the vending machine at the bus stop. It takes 25 minutes to get to the railway station Hlavná stanice. From Railway Station The name of the Brno´s railway station is Brno Hlavní nádrazí and is located in the city centre as Hotel International is. You can reach the hotel by taxi or you can use a public transport. In front of the railway station there is Hlavní nádrazí connection point where you can take a tram number 12 (direction Technologický park). After two stops you have to get off on Šilingrovo námestí and here you have to continue straight ahead along the rail about 500 meters and on the right you will see Hotel International. When travelling with public transport you have to buy a ticket in a vending machine, in a newsstand or ask driver. All car rental offices are located in a separate hall on the ground floor on Parking C. The contact list check here http://www.prg.aero/en/parking-transport/rent-cars/ There is a highway D1 connecting Brno and Prague and usually it takes about 2,5 hours to get to Brno. You will need a vignette for travelling on the highway in Czech republic but the rented cars here in Czech Republic should have it. In that case you don´t have to go through Vienna city centre, you will reach the highway very close to the airport. You need to have a vignette to go on the highway in Austria, in Slovakia and in Czech Republic as well, you can buy them in the petrol stations.
