We are so happy to have talked with you and we hope you are proud to be a Mercy alumni/ae. If you didn’t receive a phone call, we don’t have your updated information. Please help us by going to www.mercycatholic.org/ alumni. The seniors who called you are part of a new class called Senior Project. The purpose of the class is to give students an opportunity to explore and learn about a prospective college major or another area of interest not currently covered by the curriculum at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School. The students meet with a professional mentor for a minimum of 10 hours outside of class. They have to create a product/project, keep a portfolio and then present their project in front of a panel of judges. How can you be involved? You can be a judge in either December or May. Last semester Kelly Tolcher (‘08), Robyn Keuler Dunn (‘05), Ryan and Brittany Schilling (‘05) were some of our judges. Or, if you are interested in being a mentor for some of our seniors, please contact Mrs. LaunayFallasse. Please stay in touch and send us any exciting information about what you are doing so we can highlight you in future newsletters.
