1. Open a web browser and log into Alfaisal Alumni email system at:
http://outlook.com
Or
http://mail.alumni.alfaisal.edu
2. After logging into the system you are presented with the landing page. Click the Options link (see
below fig.1). Alternatively, you can click the Inbox link, and from the mail page access the options
link and then See All Options… as illustrated (see fig. 1a).

3. On the “Mail Options” page, click on the See e-mail from all your accounts in one place link OR
choose the Account link in the left side navigation and select the Connected Accounts tab.

4. This will bring you to the Connected Accounts page. Click on the New link.
5. Enter your email address and password on the “New Account Connection” pop-up screen.

6. Alfaisal email system won’t respond to this type of connection, so Click “NO” on pop-up screen
(fig6.a) and we must configure a POP connection. Click on the POP link (fig6.b).

7. Fill in the information required as highlighted in the example below. After you have completed
configuring your account details, click on the Save link.
8. Provided the configuration details are correct, the system will connect to Alfaisal email system.
Click the Close button.

At this point, the Alfaisal Alumni email system will begin to pull messages from the Alfaisal email
system. Depending on how many messages you have, this could take some time.
When you are certain that all of your email has been moved into the Alfaisal Alumni email system
(the status column will display OK when all of your email and folders have been transferred), you
can safely remove the Alfaisal email account. From the “Connected Accounts” page, (Mail >
Options > Accounts > Connected Accounts) select the configuration for the Alfaisal email system
and then click the delete <X> link.
