Total proceeds raised $1072.00 Thank You Come out & join us at the Relay For Life Event April 17th 6pm –2am Old Angleton Wildcat Stadium Luminaria Time Again We will be collecting canned goods to be used in the Luminaria bags the night of RFL again this year. The food collected will be shared among the Food pantry's servicing South Brazoria County. Luminaria sales has started and will continue though the night of Relay. They will be $5.00 a piece again this year. The Relay for Life Committee is selling Sky lanterns as part of the committee fundraising they are $8.00 per lantern if you are interested get with Sheila Walters 979-248-8644 RFL Committee Head Luminaria Chair, or stop by the Luminaria Kiosk in the narthex before or after service any Sunday. He was diagnosed in December and in need of multiple blood transfusions. Derrick’s wife, Elizabeth (Liz) Ritz Gibson, is an Angleton native. She is a 2000 AHS graduate. Both Elizabeth and Derrick are Texas A&M graduates. They are parents to Cooper (5), Connor (4), and Cullen (2). Elizabeth’s parents are Angleton residents, Mark and Synthia Ritz. It is one of our major fund raising events of the year The Loving Hands Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet on Thursday, April 23 at 7:00pm. Bring your finished work to show or bring your unfinished product to work on. If you want to learn to crochet or knit, please come and we can show you how. We as a congregation have a need and a desire to help others. There is a line item in our budget that allows us to do just that. To donate ,please write line item “1140” or “congregational care” in the memo of your check or your giving envelope. Lutherhill is coming to St. John to bring a little bit of camp to Angleton. Lutherhill Day Camp will be held July 15-19, 2015 from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm. This camp is for all kids who have completed kindergarten up through 5th grade. A $25 registration fee will be needed per child who attends. And we need you to sign up your kids since we can only accept 30 kids. (This won’t be like VBS where we can easily add or subtract as needed so when we have 30 signed up, that will be all that can be accepted.) We will need volunteers and helpers .
