We will do our very best to make your stay a success so that you leave us with a great souvenir of your time here. To achieve this we would like to ask for your co-operation on the following points: The person in charge of the group is responsible for the behaviour and the good conduct of the members of their group! The person in charge will act as the spokesperson for the team should there be a breach of the rules of the Jacques Brel Youth Hostel, i.e. failure to respect the premises, neighbouring premises or the property of other guests and the members of staff. In the event of a serious breach by one or several members of the group of internal Youth Hostel regulations or a serious breach of Belgian law the manager of the hostel reserves the right to evict one, several or the whole group on the spot. • In order to respect the right of our guests and neighbours to sleep, we kindly ask that everyone observe our regulation regarding QUIET between 22h00 and 08h00! • Local regulations stipulate that any untimely noise constitutes a disturbance of the peace and may result in a fine if neighbours ask the police to intervene. • The «Jacques Brel“ Youth Hostel became a non-smoking building on 31 May 2005. • You may smoke in the interior courtyard! • Should you notice any deterioration or anything unusual in your room, please report this to the reception immediately. • Any small breakdowns should be reported on the orange sheet that is located in the room. • Any damage to the building and/or in the vicinity of the hostel will be charged to the person responsible, in accordance with the amount of damage. 12 pm- 3 pm • Consumption of alcohol is only allowed in the restaurant and the cafeteria. • Bottles of alcohol that are to be taken home as gifts must be stored in the luggage room in the basement. • Any bottles found in the bedrooms will be confiscated by the team. u uuuu i W • Any inappropriate activation of the fire alarm system will incur a charge of 50€ that should be paid immediately! • All the rooms are cleaned between 12 pm and 3pm.
