RESIDENCE PERMIT RESIDENCE PERMIT You need to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE within one month of your arrival • https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/ * Please use ENGLISH keyboard when you are filling your application form FILL THE FORM PROPERLY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS 1. Passport 2. Four Passport size photos (photo must be taken within the last 6-month (frontal, clear face, in a way that the foreigner can be recognized easily) with a white background and as biometric) 3. Photocopy of passport pages (the page with your photo, the page where validity and expiry dates are written, and the page of the last entry) 4. In cases where passport is not written in Latin letters, certified translation by a sworn translator or official authorities shall also be added to the application 5. The payment receipt and the copy of the receipt for residence permit card. The payment amount is 55 TL 6. If you participate Erasmus Internship Programme, you need to pay the visa fee which is 353,10 TL to the Hisar Tax Office (if you have Erasmus Internship visa,you do not need to pay the visa fee) REQUIRED DOCUMENTS 7.Student Certificate (in Turkish) 8. In this regard, you need to visit the tax office with your passport. OPTION 1- PAYMENT • You can only do your payment through Garanti Bank at Kuştepe Campus Very important: • While you are making the payment for the policy, please write your name and surname as a note on the payment slip • When the procedure is completed, your document is going to be sent in 1 week to İstanbul Bilgi University. Your insurance policy must be in compliance with the minimal requirements of the mandate for obtaining a residence permit in Turkey • It has to be translated in Turkish and approved by the Notary in Turkey. • Please be aware that this regulation is only valid for Erasmus Exchange Students OPTION 3- HEALTH INSURANCE Turkey has health agreements with some countries listed below. Students who are from one of these countries are exempt from paying to General Turkish Health Insurance fee Please bring the original “Medical Assistance Entitlement Certificate" and submit it to the Social Security Directorate in Istanbul with a copy of your passport and the student certificate.
