From the desk of President Dave:
As this term comes to an end I would like to thank my
executive for their hard work. But more importantly I would to
thank the membership for coming out to meetings. Boring as
they may seem they are essential in order that the business
of the Branch can be conducted.
The election of executive is coming in May. To continue to
have a strong Branch we need to elect a strong executive.
New members are needed for their new ideas and input. As
always, if you don't come out and vote you can't complain
about the results.
With the loss of the Copper Cliff Branch, we will be
receiving a large number of transfers. I would like to
welcome them to this Branch and invite them to get involved.

The 58th annual classic The Little Brown Jug, was held Sunday, March 1st at the Sudbury
Curling Club. Eight teams competed. For the first time the bonspiel was won by an all
women's team. Congratulations to MARG HARDIE and her team Sue VAILLANCOURT, H.
ST.LOUIS, and SUE KANERVA. I would like to thank Comrade MaryAnn for the fantastic
meal. Also all the volunteers who helped to make the day a success. (see a list of sponsors
posted below the May calendar.)
On another note, don't forget to check the schedule for the change in times and dates for
Euchre and Darts.

received beginning with the General Meeting
of Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Consider
carefully whom you would like to see
representing you on your Executive.
Nominations for positions on the Executive
of Branch 76 Royal Canadian Legion will be
received from the floor and elections of the
2015/2016 executive will take place at the
General Meeting of Tuesday, May 19, 2015.
Be present to stand and to vote.

Honours and Awards Presentations will be held at the Branch on the
evening of Friday, May 29, 2015 beginning at 7:00 pm.
Applications are still being received, however, deadlines vary
dependent upon the approval level required. Get applications in to
