This beautiful new European flooring collection
of solid and engineered oak is available in a variety
of shades and styles, including stunning smoked
woods. Coastline has a brushed appearance offering
a textured surface whilst the smooth finish of
Woodland creates a somewhat less rustic feel. The
range also includes classic and timeless Parquetry
that originated in Europe in the middle ages, often
seen in substantial buildings such as monasteries and
manor houses. We feel that all of our new wood
floors will add charm and character wherever they
are used.

oak collection takes inspiration from natural woodland and the

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Wood Flooring is the ideal product for use in most rooms. The exception
being those which are subject to getting wet or to extreme humidity. We
advise you consult with our sales staff to check areas of suitability.
OILED
The majority of the Fired Earth Wood Collection is prefinished with
OSMO colour and hard wax oil. No additional oiling is required on-site.
ENGINEERED BOARDS
A product of the modern age. Considered more stable than a solid board
and thus may be used over underfloor heating. Please refer to our Wood
Installation Guide.
SOLID BOARDS
100% oak, a traditional product which has been around for centuries.
SKIRTING
Skirting available in all colours with a choice of round or square edge.
BRUSHING
The surface of the planks are brushed to remove the softer growth. This
results in a textured finish which gently highlights the natural growth
structure of the wood.
SMOKED BOARDS
Smoking oak boards with ammonia is a traditional method for enriching
and darkening the floor’s appearance. The tannin acid within the oak
reacts with the ammonia to create a truly unique finish. Not every oak
board contains the same quantity of tannin therefore the colour and
appearance can vary significantly from board to board.

Due to the nature of the wood some variation in the size and thickness
of the wood will occur.
NATURAL CHARACTERISTICS
All our wood floors are carefully selected to offer a range of the naturally
occuring characteristics of the tree.
SAMPLES
Should be used as a colour guide only. Due to the sample size it cannot
represent the natural variation within wood which will occur across a
floor. Smoked wood may feature significant variation.
