ABOUT JABATAN PEMBANGUNAN KEMAHIRAN (JPK) PROGRAMME
JPK programmes are introduce to train students
in basic hospitality skills. These courses are
designed to be flexible and hence conducted on
a full-time basis.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Upon completion, students can choose to
further their studies in the Diploma programmes
in Higher Learning Institutions. Otherwise, they
will be able to start work in entry levelpositions in hotels, restaurants or any other
food service establishment.
PERBADANAN TABUNG PEMBANGUNAN KEMAHIRAN
Practical training and Theoretical study are
introduced specifically to provide and train
students with relevant skills and knowledge to
the needs of the hospitality and service
industry.
Duration of Studies
 Six (6) months for Level 1 & 2
 Twelve (12) months for Level 3
Entry Requirements
 Malaysian
 Age from 17 years old to 25 years old
 Minimum SPM
 Other qualification will be considered
Criteria: Malaysian
 Pass SPM
 Age from 16—25 years old within studies
 Parents income not more than RM5,000.00 per month
 Able to provide 2 guarantors
 Never apply any study loans from any government
department

PROGRAMMES THROUGH ASCOT ACADEMY
Ascot Academy and Berjaya University College Of Hospitality (BERJAYA UCH) recognised the need
and importance for graduates students of Malaysia Skill certification (SKM) to pursue higher
educational goals.
For student who completed their Level 3 for the JPK programmes in Ascot Academy, students will
be able to continue their study for Diploma level in Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary at BERJAYA
University College of Hospitality (BERJAYA UCH).
