Join me tonight in welcoming Winter 2014’s
initiate class! Take tonight’s opportunity to meat
them (no, wait, that isn’t quite right). I’m sure we
will all spend plenty of time giving our potential
members giving handy tips and tricks on how to
make it in and get the dreaded folder finished. (If I
were a gambling man, I would put money on most
of the members/officers telling initiates to start
polishing their bents. And if you haven’t yet, DO IT!
That sucker will take a long time to shine!)
And in between helpful hints, let’s enjoy
peppering everyone with ridiculous questions. The
more absurd, the better! If someone can knock
someone out of their seat with a great question,
you will win all of the points (see the achievements
in the following pages, although that’s a new one
and it’ll be worth 1000G).
Here’s a little encouragement for you
initiates: ridiculous questions call for ridiculous
answers, have some fun and let’s see what you’ve
got!

Well… after a record zero submissions, this didn’t seem to work very
well. Trying again never hurt anyone:
It’s the Local Bent.
Have something you want to see grace these glorious
pages?
Submit it! (I’ll give you candy and you will get credit for
it, c’mon)!

Maze #16
I think this may be the maze for Inception. Although I didn’t make it in two minutes, can you
solve it in one?

Building Bridges
Here are the rules: Connect these islands with bridges until each island can be reached from
any other island, and each island has as many outgoing bridges as its number. You may only
connect islands vertically or horizontally and bridges may not cross. There may be one or two
bridges connecting pairs of islands, but no more than two. Have fun!

Note: You can use a different program named Crossword Weaver® to print a nicer copy of
this puzzle, one that doesn't look like a web page. This software program gives you much
greater control over how the puzzle looks, lets you export your puzzle to other software,
publish it interactively on the Web or as a PDF file. Check it out for free by downloading the
demo from www.CrosswordWeaver.com. Purchasing converts the demo into the full
program.
