Call the Midwife, Season 5
Democratic Senate Debate
Sundays, April 3–May 22, at 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 9, at 8:00 p.m.
It’s 1961 and Poplar is beginning to feel the winds of
social change, along with improvements in housing,
sanitation, and healthcare. The midwives and nuns of
Nonnatus House encounter complex and challenging
cases, from an outbreak of typhoid to a pregnant
teenager, and a mother who vanishes.
Hear from Democratic candidates for the seat of U.S.
Senator for Pennsylvania as they debate before a live
studio audience. Hosted by The McCourtney Institute
for Democracy with WPSU, and moderated by Patty
Satalia, the debate will be broadcast on WPSU-TV
and streamed online. For more information and other
election resources, visit wpsu.org/Vote16.

theatres, and libraries. Artists and fans alike enjoy the upclose and personal nature of the shows.

By changing the racial equation of our national pastime,

whole, from athlete to Civil Rights activist. Each episode
repeats at 11:00 p.m.

MADE POSSIBLE BY
Buss Endowment
Dr. Edward Buss and WPSU-FM would like to thank all those who recently made
generous gifts to the Dorothy R. and Edward G. Buss Endowment for WPSU-FM
in Dorothy's memory.
The Buss Endowment provides a perpetual source of financial support for the
programming on WPSU-FM that was so important to Dorothy throughout her life.
Every year on May 7, WPSU-FM recognizes the Buss Endowment on air to honor
Dorothy and Ed's anniversary.
