CORAL Network / CASA Project
CORAL Network – Regional policies for active and healthy ageing is a network
of regions working in the AAL field. CORAL has been built up thanks to the collaboration
between the regional offices in Brussels of Flanders, Kent, Noord Brabant, Veneto, Friuli
Venezia Giulia, West and East Sweden. Currently CORAL has around 20 members.
CORAL applyed for a committment to two EIP-AHA Action Groups, and many of the CORAL
member regions are in the partnership of the approved CASA project (Consortium for
Assistive Solutions Adoption), within the framework of the EU Programme Interreg IV C.
The Azienda sanitaria n. 5 - Bassa Friulana - Area Welfare represents the Friuli Venezia Giulia
Region in these activities and the FVG office in Brussels has the official task (given by the
regional Governmen) to support CORAL network.

for Active and Healthy Ageing, in particular to Specific action D4 Innovation for age friendly buildings, cities and environments

with the aim of mobilising a EU-wide community of local and regional authorities and
other stakeholders to support the scaling-up of innovative solutions for agefriendly environments to support active and healthy ageing across Europe
