25 August (THU) - HIC 2016 - 12th International Conference on
HIC 2016 12th International Conference on Hydroinformatics “Smart Water for the Future” Welcome Message “Smart Water for the Future” It is our great pleasure to invite you to 12th International Conference on Hydroinformatics (HIC 2016) being held at Songdo ConvensiA in Incheon, Korea, from 21 August (SUN) to 26 August (FRI), 2016. The conference has been the main gathering of Hydroinformatics communities in IAHR, IAHS and IWA. As the utilization of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) for the efficiency of water management has been issued highly for the last two decades, the Hydroinformatics conference became a very popular event among hydrologist, water scientists, and engineers working in emerging areas of water management. The main theme of the conference is “Smart Water for the Future” focusing the fast evolving smart instruments and techniques for water management. We expect many preeminent presentations followed by in depth discussion, so that the participants will be able to catch the latest trend of smart technologies and advanced aspects of Hydroinformatics. We cordially welcome you all to this recognized international conference of HIC 2016, and hope you will have great time in Korea.
