TurfHound Preparing For Record Year in 2014
As the calendar winds down for 2013 and we
enter a new season, golf courses are faced with
difficult decisions regarding allocation of future
capital expenditures. “We are busy providing
price quotes and drawings to golf courses
looking to replace, upgrade or purchase a
new tee line and based on the current level of
demand thus far TurfHound will have a record
year in 2014” according to Rick Reynolds,
President of TurfHound.
It’s not to late to contact us for information regarding pricing, drawings and
construction of a new tee line for your
facility. We are already collecting and processing deposits for installations in 2014.

TurfHound Products Utilized at 13 of The Top 100
TurfHound performance
products are being utilized by
13 of the Golf Digest Top
100 Golf Courses including
three of the top 10. “This is
quite an accomplishment
and speaks volumes about
the high quality of the product line” said Golden. Check
back with us as we are currently working on new projects with other Top 100 for
2014!
and having a positive impact
on the great game of golf
for all players” stated Golden.
“While we take great pleasure
with this success we are just as
proud that TurfHound products
are being used at golf courses in
all categories including municipal,
public and resort as well as private. We are excited that our
product line is enhancing practice
facilities being used by golfers at all
types of facilities. We take great
pride in providing an innovative
product which is improving the
experiences on the driving range

“When our
members said
they wanted to
use the tee line
instead of the
grass we knew
we made the
right decision”
The TurfHound Difference
What makes TurfHound so
good? “Well, it starts with our
active foam technology that uses
advanced materials to duplicate
the combined dynamics of grass
and soil. By introducing a synthetic representation of soil to
the equation our products can
more accurately and safely simulate the real feeling of striking a
golf shot on natural turf. Realistic and safe for your joints is the
key to trusting artificial surfacing”, according to Reynolds.
TurfHound produces all of its
products on a custom basis to
meet its customers needs. Durability is critical to the long
term success of any product and
this is why we choose the highest quality synthetic materials to
build our product. This allows
us to offer the “longest wearing”
products on the market. TurfHound utilizes a system that
allows for rotation of fairway
panels to extend the life of the
product. Replacement panels
are cost effective allowing managers to extend the life of the
product even longer. “The old
adage, “you get what you pay
for” applies here as TurfHound
products initially cost more
however, the quality of the
product and the customers’
enjoyment is maintained
throughout its useful lifespan.
Therefore, the return on the
investment is significantly higher than the competition” stated
Reynolds.
Installations 365 Days a Year
Fairmount C.C., NJ
Just because the leaves were falling doesn’t
mean we shut down for the year. We were and
continue to be busy completing installations in
all areas across the country. We recently completed new installations in New Jersey (left), in
Virginia (right) and California (front page). Other courses have prepared for 2014 by pouring
their cement pads this fall in preparation for
installation as weather permits. The ease in
which TurfHound can be installed, makes it a
365 install.

TurfHound completed a unique
custom project this summer working with Billy Casper Golf at their

Enhancing Your Tee Line
There’s no limit to the creativity courses have implemented to
enhance their practice facilities while adding TurfHound tee
lines. The picture to the right is a good example as an overhead
structure which has been incorporated into the tee complex to
provide shade during the hot summer months and allow golfers
to practice in comfort of shade. A great way to increase lesson
revenues and encourage golfers to practice more.
