Gul: A tobacco product used as a dentifrice in the eastern parts of India. Bajjar: This is dry snuff or tapkeer, applied by women in Gujarat on their teeth and gums. Gudhaku: A paste made of tobacco and molasses, it is applied to the teeth and gums and is popular in Bihar, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Creamy snuff: These are prepared with tobacco paste, marketed in toothpaste-like tubes Tobacco water: Known as tuibur in Mizoram and hidakphu in Manipur, it is made by passing tobacco smoke through water.
