Born to a British father and
Singaporean mother, Ming Bridges
has proven to be more than just a
pretty face, for not only can she sing,
act, model and dance, her talent for
song-writing was discovered during a
meeting with Singapore’s veteran
musicians Eric Ng and Xiaohan. “I
Want You Back” was the very song
that Ming played for them during their
first meeting.
Ming has since then been signed up
by Funkie Monkies in Singapore and
has released her debut bilingual
album “誰知道Who Knows” in both
English & Mandarin consisting of 9
English songs and 3 Chinese songs in
February 2012.. Her first single ‘I want
you back’ is being released in
November, followed by a Mandarin
track “有些男孩不不能愛” (Some Guys) in
January. She wrote 11 out of the 12
tracks.
“有些男孩不不能愛” (Some Guys)
climbed its way into the Y.E.S. 93.3FM
charts at No. 8, and “ 馬賽克世界”
(Mosaic World) had made its way into
the top 10! ‘Under the Stars’ also
found its way into the 91.3FM charts.
“Who knows” yielded impressive
results for Ming in the year of 2012.
With 2 awards for that year, Elle:
Music Act of 2012 and m:idea Youth
Choice Awards 2013.
She was also chosen to record and
perform “Believe”, theme song for
the Singapore National Games 2012

only newcomer who represented
Singapore admist celebrities such as
Show Luo 羅志祥, Joi Chua etc to
perform on China’s National TV
station CCTV at the “中新歌會 Starry
Starry Night”held in Beijing June
2012.
In December 2012, Ming released
her full mandarin album “明天Ming
Day“. The album entered top 20 of
the prestigious local G-music chart,
a chart that is based upon CD sales.
The album also hit Number 2 in
iRadio chart, beating all other divas,
giving away only to Jay Chou’s “12
horoscopes”.
Ming Day’s first single “淚淚若若⾬雨下
“(Tears like Rain) has been
featured in several Taiwan dramas
such as “認命吧⾦金金牽⽜牛”. The song

the media with constant rotation.
