WHO WE ARE
Studio One was founded in 1975 by
Sjamsidar Isa (Tjammy), Lily Salim and
Prajudi Admodirjo who were all
studying fashion in Germany at the
same time.They all possessed
individual talents and skills, and shared
a common vision to introduce
ready-to-wear fashion in Indonesia.
WHO WE ARE
Fashion was considered a luxur y in Indonesia at that
time. There were no ready-to-wear labels in stores
and outfits were still made-to-order by tailors.
Inspired by the international fashion scene of
Europe, the founders of Studio One launched the
first ready-to-wear in Indonesia with a spectacular
fashion show, coordinated and self designed to the
ver y last detail. The launching proved to be a milestone in Indonesia's fashion industr y.
As a pioneer in the fashion industr y, Studio One is
more than just a success stor y, and have became
the leading fashion events coordinator in Indonesia.
When other founding members moved into other
areas of the fashion industr y, Tjammy remained at the
helm of the company. Always an innovator she
moulded Studio One into a fashion institution,
specializing in catering to the various
ser vices in today's fashion industr y. Today , Tjammy’s
eldest daughter, Aida Nurmala with her team runs a
successful event organizer, fashion consultancy,
public relation, modeling agency company under the
same name, and has staged spectacular events
across Indonesia and around the world

(2011 - 2013) Senayan City Audi Fashion Nation 2013
Held for the seventh year, the annual Senayan City Fashion Nation opulence and fabulousness of Indonesian fashion. Studio One
coordinated the entertaiment program, bringing beauty at the Opening Night event, as well as the fashion show from Mel Ahyar, Rusly
Tjohnardi, and Ari Seputra. Well into the night, the Swing & Swirl After Party got VIP guests shaking to the jazzy groove. To close off the
Senayan City Fashion Nation 2013, Studio One also coordinated the second ever Runway Hits to introduce Indonesia’s latest and
greatest fashion talents such as Yogie Pratama, Yosafat Dwi Kurniawan, Rama Dauhan & the label Major Minor.

Revolutionizing Indonesia’s media industry, NET
is a new TV station that offers fresh and modern
concept to media enthusiast all over the nation.
Studio One was a part of the history - making
moments, helping NET to organize it’s first ever
Marketing Gathering, as well as producing and
managing VIP & VVIP Lounge, together with the
red carpet.

(2013) Agnez EDP Reve Launching with Blibli.com
As the exclusive retailer to Agnes Monica’s perfume product Blibli.com launched the
Indonesians superstar’s AGNEZ eau de perfume - REVE. The launching included a mini
concert by Agnes Monica and Additional program entertaiment that included an award
winning pole dancer from Australia and LED dancer to add the celebration. Studio One
coordinated not only the direction of the program, but also the production for the main
stage, lighting, and other nuances to support the green and black decor, specially themed
for the product image of the perfume.

( 2013) Galeries Lafayette - Fashion Is You 2nd Edition
Fashion Is You 2nd Edition is Galeries Lafayette street style
fashion show event. Studio One help Galeries Lafayette gearing
up to host Indonesia biggest fashion catwalk (162 m runway),
starring 200 non-professional models with three categories of
style: Mixology, Smokey Rock and Cocktail time. Jury’s favorite
was rewarded a return ticket of Jakarta-Paris.

The world reowned fashion brand from Sweden is now open in
Indonesia. Studio One has been given the honor to held an exclusive
VIP night and grand opening of its first two H&M stores in Indonesia.

(2013) Bazaar Fashion Festival IPMI Trend Show 2014
Aptly titled Bazaar Fashion Festival presents IPMI Trend Show 2014,
Ikatan Perancang Mode Indonesia (IPMI) designers by the likes of
Priyo Oktaviano, Denny Wirawan, Era Soekamto, and Mel Ahyar
presented their collection that depict Indonesia’s fashion trend for
the year 2014. IPMI Trend Show has been IPMI’s annual show for 27
years and Studio One has always been trusted to handle both show
production and PR aspects of the event. Joined forces with Harper’s
Bazaar Indonesia, this year’s IPMI Trend Show was a success and
ready to mesmerize Indonesia’s fashion enthusiasts.

Taking place in Grand Ballroom Hotel Mulia,
Matahari held a vendor gathering with exuberant
ambience supported by delightful line-up of

( 2014) ghd - Unlocking Your Good Hair Day
To kick start ghd Indonesia’s retainer program, Studio One PR
created an exclusive media event to showcase the true power of
ghd products. Famous for its premium hair styling tools, ghd
launched their latest styler known as the Gold V Series and their
hair dryer known as the ghd air to leading beauty editors from
printed and online media, as well as Indonesia’s leading beauty
bloggers. Held at Foundry 8, Guests were treated to a relaxing
pampering by getting them to experience how ghd products can
really unlock a woman’s good hair day.

As a leading brand in professional hair industry, L'Oreal
Professionnel always innovate and educate salon partners across the
archipelago. Scarlet Temptation, is the latest color trend from
L'Oreal Professionnel Indonesia to amplify Indonesian customers
beloved hair color, Red. L'Oreal Professionnel Indonesia worked
closely with Studio One to deliver Scarlet Temptation in a unique
and themed hair show. We managed to deliver outstanding ideas

( 2014) Runway Hits Third Edition
As part of Senayan City's annual Fashion Nation, Studio One,
alongside Senayan City, is back with their third installment of
"Senayan City Fashion Nation: Runway Hits". Entitled Runway Hits:
Sophisticasia, Studio One, as the main initiator, came with an idea
of showcasing not only Indonesia's fashion talents, but also Asia's.
With new great talents by the likes of Peggy Hartanto, Patrick
Owen, and two other designers from Malaysia and Singapore, Joe
Chia and Rayson Tan, the third edition of Runway Hits was a
success story and undoubtedly skyrocketed the four designers
prominence.

(2014) Chanel S/S 2014 Commercial Show
Having substantial experience in coordinating numerous fashion
shows, Studio One is trusted by PT. Time International to manage
Chanel S/S 2014 Commercial Show. The French luxury brand has
once again enticed its aficionados through an opulent yet subtle show
exclusively presented for Chanel's clienteles at Plaza Indonesia Multi
Function Hall. Working closely with both Chanel team from Indonesia
and Singapore, Studio One has successfully managed the entire show,
as well as coordinating all models.

mengacu pada sentuhan gaya-gaya modern atau justru berbalik pada keindahan natural? Jawaban dari pertanyaan seputar mode 2014 tersebut dirangkum indah dalam tren show IPMI
(Ikatan Perancang Mode Indonesia), yang berlangsung selama
dua hari di Skenoo Hall Gandaria
City, pada Selasa (8/10) dan Rabu (9/10).
Barli Asmara, perancang muda yang terkenal dengan gaya desain khususnya (haute couture),
pada malam terakhir menampilkan tema Royal Embroidery. Sebanyak 24 koleksi Barli mengeksplorasi dan menonjolkan karya dari para pengukir, penyulam,
dan para penjahit bordir. Dalam
tema ini pula, bordiran dari Barli
terinspirasi akan dekorasi keindahan kerajaan-kerajaan.
Masih sama dengan tiga tahun belakangan ini, Barli tetap
menonjolkan keanggunan dan
kecantikan wanita dengan gaya
50-an. Karena itu tak heran dalam 24 koleksinya, mata kita
kembali melihat gaya ikon fashion seperti Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Onassis, dan Audrey Hepburn. Diungkapkan Barli, koleksi
Royal Embroidery menonjolkan
keanggunan wanita zaman dahulu, yang dipadupadankan dengan

“Aku memang sangat terinspirasi dengan kecantikan wanita
pada era tahun 20-an, 30-an, 40an, dan 50-an. Menurutku, dari
era itulah mode berbusana keanggunan tercipta. Lewat show
IPMI 2014 inilah aku ingin mengukuhkan kecantikan wanita
yang tak lekang oleh waktu,”
ungkap Barli.
Pada koleksi barunya, Barli
juga masih menampilkan warna-warna yang lembut. Kali ini
off white dan broken white
menjadi pilihan. Sementara untuk bahan, Barli menonjolkan
siluet klasik dari bahan pilihan
seperti tweed, duchess, tulle,
dan jacquard.
Hampir senada dengan Barli
yang mengangkat kecantikan wanita tahun 50-an, Era Sukamto
juga mencoba menyusuri sejarah
dengan tema 1421. Pada 22 koleksinya, Era mengawinkan segitiga antara budaya Indonesia (Jawa), Cina, dan Eropa (Reinaissance). Meskipun memadukan tiga budaya, tidak ada kesan berat
dalam setiap koleksi Era. Justru
hampir semua koleksi Era terlihat ringan, modern, dan ready to
wear.

Untuk warna, Kanaya memilih warnawarna ceria spring
and summer dengan
motif grafis. Kebebasan diterjemahkan dengan
aplikasi busana overall, yang sangat cantik dikenakan untuk busana pesta maupun cocktail. Sementara untuk cutting, Kanaya
menonjolkan potongan-potongan
yang tegas di bagian atas.
“Saya banyak main cutting di
bagian atas, sehingga busana terkesan ringan dan nyaman dipakai. Untuk tahun depan, saya sengaja menonjolkan busana yang
mudah dipakai oleh siapa saja.
Orang tidak perlu berpikir banyak saat melihat koleksi baru
Kanaya. Saat melihat warna dan
potongannya, sudah terbayang
busana akan dikenakan ke acara
apa,” kata Kanaya.

Sementara itu, Danny dengan
tema Inflorense memadukan unsur feminin sekaligus maskulin
seorang wanita. Tema yang diangkat mengandung arti keindahan akan sekumpulan bunga, atau
keindahan bunga yang sedang
bermekaran. Tetapi di antara keindahan bunga tersebut, Danny
masih menyelipkan ketangguhan
seorang wanita.
Aplikasi yang dipakai dalam
20 koleksi milik Danny lebih
mengaju pada teknik digital printing tiga dimensi. Aplikasi tersebut sesuai dengan tren 2014, dimana orang berubah untuk mengembangkan gaya lebih bebas

The eccentric Indonesian couturier, Mel Ahyar always has her fresh ideas
finely crafted everytime she presents new collections. In Les
Marionettes, Mel Ahyar presented quirky "wayang" puppets ofIndonesia.
Jam & Jar Team of Studio One has been her faithful partner for creative
visuals and communication. This time, we got to design a unique looking
invitation mimicking shape of a story book, as well as accompanying

One of Indonesia's top supermarkets, Ranch Market,
appointed Studio One's design team, Jam & Jar, to create and
generate a special Chinese New Year packaging for
Baumkuchen, one of Ranch Market's highest selling products.
Jam & Jar team proposed the initial design to Ranch Market
with few adjustments before they went into production.
Sufficient and creative, the new packaging has graced Ranch
Market all over Indonesia.
