To do just about anything administrative or academic at U of T, you need to join our electronic student information system. The Repository of Student Information (ROSI) is the web-based tool you will use to enrol in courses and programs, update your address, view your fees account, check your marks, and much more. Start by registering at www.rosi.utoronto.ca. Your User ID is your U of T student number. The first time you log on, your Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be your date of birth, in the format YYMMDD; you will be prompted to select a new PIN during your first session. Beginning in JUNE, obtain your U of T Student Card (TCard). Visit www.utoronto.ca/tcard for details about where and how. You will also get your U of T email address when you get your TCard. This is what you will use to communicate and receive information as a U of T student. 6 Choose Your Courses/Confirm Your Timetable The Faculty’s Calendar and Registration Handbook and Timetable are your sources for information on courses, programs, rules and regulations. Consult these publications at www.artsci.utoronto.ca/current and read them carefully to make sure your course selection meets your program requirements. Once you are set up on ROSI you can enrol in the courses you’ve selected on JULY 30. If you have questions about courses or programs, contact the Woodsworth College Registrar’s Office; contact information is provided in your offer and welcome materials at join.utoronto.ca. 7 Plan Your Finances and Pay (or Defer) Your Fees It’s important to plan out your income and expenses before deciding whether or not to apply for financial aid. To create a budget using our budgeting tool, click on “Costs of University” at www.adm.utoronto.ca. Click on “Financial Aid” to learn about financial aid options. The first instalment of your tuition fees will be due on AUGUST 20. You will need to print your invoice from ROSI – see Step 5 – and pay your fees at a bank. Complete details are provided in your offer documents at join.utoronto.ca. If you wish to defer your fee payment (as you wait for OSAP funds to come through, for example) you can do so online through ROSI, provided you applied for OSAP on time. 8 Prepare to Attend New Student Orientation and Begin Classes Visit www.woodsworthfrosh.com for more information about New Student Orientation.
