Division, Le Officine Riunite Udine S.p.A.,
dedicated to the production of plants and
equipment for the production, transport and

SPECIAL STEELS
THE MIXING DRUM OF THE L&T
TRUCK MIXERS IS MADE OF
WEAR-PROOF STEELS: the 30MnB5
steel is used for standard series and

the IMER WEAR for the superlight

series. Both steels have chemical and

absolutely superior to the commonly
������������
used steels.
For the 30MnB5, its high content of
chromium and boron guarantees a real
resistance to the wear and tear caused
by concrete.
For the IMER WEAR, its resistance
allows to reduce the steel sheet
thickness to 3 mm (really lighter),
keeping, or better, increasing, drum life.

GREATER CAPACITY
The L&T Truck Mixers are a real
system for concrete mixing and
transport according to high quality
and functional standards. Each
technical detail has been conceived,
designed and realized in order to make
the mixers work in perfect harmony
with the truck chassis destined for their
transport. A wide range of capacities
from 4 to 12 m3 of vibrated concrete
always guarantees low tares and
optimised carrying capacities.
All L&T Truck Mixers are equipped
with hydraulic transmissions and
gearboxes that allow to reach
the maximum rotation speed of
the mixing drum when the vehicle is
at 1500 revolutions/1’ (in comparison
with the usual 1800 revolutions/1’).
Such a characteristic allows
to diminish the fuel consumption,
to reduce the wear and tear and
to respect the environment (thanks
to the low sound emissions) and to
increase the service life of the engine.

steel, it is superlight and much more
wear resistant.
The mixing drum is realized in
special IMER WEAR steel having
mechanical characteristics superior
to the materials utilized so far for
constructing truck mixers. The wear
resistance of the IMER WEAR steel
allows to reduce the steel sheet
thickness up to 3 mm, keeping, or
