slant chamber design provides
tangential feed from 3 plate
molds, robots/sprue pickers, or
parts separators. A full range of
options are available to meet a
variety of scrap recovery needs.
Applications for the T Series machines
include: Skeletal scrap with and
without formed parts in the web,
expanded polystyrene, high impact polystyrene, HDPE, ABS, PET,
and CPET. Can be positioned
under or in front of the trim process.
The U Series granulators offer a
wide range of capabilities and are
ideal for under-the-press or in front
of the press applications. Models
feature a horsepower range of
14.9 to 29.8 kW and throughput
capacities of 728 - 1270 kgs/hour.

CT500 Series
Large Tangential Series
The CT500 Series encompasses the design elements for
the widest variety of application needs. A side mount
motor design permits drive motor to be right-hand or
left-hand positioned and completely open rear service
area for maintenance and cleanout.
The Large Tangential Series granulators feature a
tangential feed cutting chamber, which allows for
better ingestion of feedstock.

CXS Series
The CLS Series light duty shredder
is designed for processing injection
and extrusion mold startup purge. It
reduces material to approximately
25mm to 101mm when combined
with a Cumberland granulator
(stacked 2 stage or in-line with conveyors) and output material sizes
can range from 3mm to 13mm.
The CMS Series Shredder features
a rugged self-aligning gearbox,
that is able to transmit the heavy
shock loads encountered while
shredding heavy material.
Designed for processing plastic
waste for reclamation and recycling,
large extruder purgings, large reject
parts, trim scraps, baled or loose

CPS Series
The CPS Series shredders have been developed for the
size reduction of pipes up to 1,300mm diameter from
materials such as UPVC, PE and PP.
• 990mm or 1422mm diameter drum style rotor provides
efficient cutting of thick wall pipe
• The low speed cutting action provides smooth operation
when processing the heavy wall or solid pipe and
reduces noise levels that typically occur when processing
long lengths of heavy material
• Feed trough that processes up to 7.5 meter long full
length pipe horizontally – allows the heavy pipe to be
fed at a comfortable height by fork lift or crane
Easy horizontal loading arms allow pipe to be placed
via a fork llift or crane at an operator-friendly height
Complete Pipe Shredding System includes:
• Fully enclosed trough with safety curtains
• Hydraulic ram and powerpack
• Controls to interface with downstream
granulator and pneumatic evacuation systems
• Optional discharge conveyor shown
Reclaim new or used pipe in a safe, efficient manner.

Fluff Feed System
Cumberland fluff feed hoppers
are designed to feed a percentage
of the fluff directly back into the
extruder throat. The unique dualstage design ensures that the fluff
is mixed with the virgin material
above the extruder throat. Each
auger is independently adjustable
and can be set to follow the extruder screw speed by monitoring
a tachometer signal from the
extruder.
The TE unit is designed to re-feed
edge trim only. The TFH will handle up to 30% of the edge trim
and/or scrap. The TFH-HP is
designed for those applications
where scrap re-feed greater than
30% is common.
