Outstanding Student Accomplishments
Delta Office
Whitney Adams and Joan Jones visited Delta Junction for a “Raven about High School” workshop for our
8th graders. Students planned their freshman classes and registered with AKCIS (Alaska Career Information System). Our 8th graders completed an “Interest Inventory” to see the career choices they are best
suited for. Then students did a “Reality Check” budgeting exercise based on their career choice. We
enjoyed pizza and cupcakes while we learned about Career Readiness. Thanks, Whitney and Joan!
