Commodore’s Comments
I want to thank the crew for putting on our Beach
Party. Debby and Kyle Brunk, Al Peterson, Peter
Russo, and Greg Zielinski. The day was fantastic
and the food was perfect. Which reminds me, I need
to thank all that brought desserts and salads…if
nothing else we eat well at the Club!
We have a busy month coming up. The Fivenson’s
are again sponsoring Slip Shots August 16th, which is
always a great time. Occasionally, too much fun! It is
a great way to visit everyone’s boat and enjoy a summer evening.
The following weekend, August 23rd through 25th , is our annual Open
House. Team Nowak has been working on putting on another fantastic
Friday Steak Night. We have Mike Mecha and The Best of Everything
entertaining us throughout the night. Seating is limited and tickets are
available at the Bar. The Junior’s are providing lunch on Saturday. Team
Karwacki is busily finalizing Saturday’s Pig Roast. Roy Edwards and
a bunch of friends will be the Main Event for the evening. Tickets are
available at the Bar and the day of the event. Finally, a well-deserved
breakfast sponsored by Team Smith on Sunday morning. So bring your
family, friends, coworkers, or neighbors down to the Club and enjoy the
activities. Sign up sheets are at the Club for volunteers to help all weekend. Another great opportunity for hours!
Speaking of available hours, the new Club shed construction will be starting within the next week or two. If you would like to assist contact Tony
Karwacki at 414-530-4300 or tony.karwacki@yahoo.com.
Summer is starting to come to an end, but the upside is we haven’t given
up yet! Come on down and enjoy the moment.

Juniors Update
Hey guys! Great job at the Heritage Days parade, you all did wonderfully. It seemed to me that everyone liked
what we put together, and Neb the duck seemed to be a star. Sadly, we once again ran out of candy early so
next year we all have to try harder at monitoring the amount we give to each kid.
The Pig Roast lunch will be on Saturday, August 24, 11:00am-1:00pm. Every junior needs to sign up for at least
one work shift, if for any reason you and/or your family can’t make it then please let Ashley or Mrs. Hock know
ahead of time.
The juniors would like to thank all the families who have been so kind to bring us dinner. Also, if you haven’t
signed up to bring dinner, please see Ashley Hock, or me (Lily Schmus).
Lastly, our final meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 27th.
Thanks,
Lily Schmus

Thank you for your co-operation!
