with us:
Join in the fun and make friends with InterAct’s Short Breaks Group activities and opportunities
Whether it’s a couple of hours at the movies or a whole day at the zoo our Activity Programme is bursting with fun things to
do for young people whilst giving parents/carers a break. We support young people to get out and about in the community,
make friends build new skills, try new activities and have fun. We offer a full range of evenings, weekends and after school
activities throughout the year based in Basildon, Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester and Tendring whilst day trips during
school holidays are wider spread. The Young People are always happy to welcome new InterActors to the groups!
Not ready for Group Activities? – Ask us about
our fantastic programme which links
young people with learning disabilities and special needs with peers and volunteers - guided by a ‘Circles`s co-ordinator.
Young peers provide volunteer support, friendship, mentoring, inclusion, skills development, confidence building and of
course, lots of FUN!
Are you registered with InterAct? We ask parents/carers to complete and return a signed registration form to us
before their son, daughter or the young person in their care can take part in their first InterAct activity. Please download a
registration form from our website or give us a call.
If you’re feeling a bit shy or unsure if InterAct is for you ask about Taster Days with one of the team. We are only a call away.

The London Ghost Bus Tour - is a theatrical sightseeing tour, showing you
the darker side of London while providing a piece of comedy horror theatre
on board a classic 1960s Routemaster bus. From the Houses of Parliament
and Westminster Abbey over to St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of
London, see the city's sites of murder, torture and execution, and learn
about the ghosts of London and the grisly skeletons in the capital's
cupboards.
