We understand that for some young people this may be your first taste of independence away from Cost: your family so we will make sure your stay is fun, exciting, safe and memorable. Fully catered, bring your own sleeping bag or £10 duvet. We’ll also take a torch lit trail to the farm where there will be a bonfire, marshmallow toasting, hot chocolate and a sing song followed by a film projected onto the Long Gallery wall. After breakfast on Saturday there will be varied education events taking place in and around this magnificent Tudor building and grounds. Bring your own sleeping bag. Max capacity: 20 young people. Please note that some activities may be unsuitable for some young people for health and safety reasons. InterAct? InterAct courses and workshops Parents/carers/foster carers have found InterAct’s suite of resilience and early intervention courses not to be missed. We cover topics for Parents/carers/foster carers who would want to know about, in a friendly and supportive environment, alongside others who understand and give peer support. For example: Safe early intervention strategies for children’s challenging behaviours – Break-Point Building their resilience to cope with the daily stressors – Strength to Strength Basic understanding and knowledge of children/young people’s emotional health Better understanding of transition processes from primary to senior, from school to employment/training Share experiences, ideas and tips – at our coffee mornings* Training is delivered by qualified trainers and people with real life experience. If you are interested call the Training Team to find find out more. Co-ordinator—Peter Dilley (01245 608353) Monday 12 January Monday 26 January Monday 16 February 5—7pm 5—7pm 9—5pm 31 March Half term Easter Mondays 5—7pm THIS TERM – SHARING THE STORY: Our main focus will be on putting together leaflets, displays, online videos and podcasts, so we can share the story of Moulsham Mill with other people. These will include young people’s comments and experiences of being part of the project so far, whether through being involved in the archaeological dig last Summer, planning and testing Heritage Trails, visiting local historic sites and museums, or researching archive documents, maps and pictures. 02, 09, 23, March Young p erson We are pleased to confirm that our Young Roots project will be continuing until June 2015. So if you are interested in history and heritage then come and join the MTEAM15 project where we look back in time to explore the intriguing history of Moulsham Mill and the city of Chelmsford Young person Most Look out for ….
