The Walter Brewster House holds its place in our town’s rich history—and we plan to make history of our own with this event! Through your participation, interest, and support, we hope this will be the successful inauguration of an annual tradition. We are appreciative of the many people and organizations whose joint and cooperative efforts brought this venture to fruition. None of which would have happened without Bob and Stacy Dumont of The Bowl Company—our visionaries, who were also the founders of ArtBeat, a highly successful crafts fair started in 2011. The Brewster Chamber of Commerce saw the partnership as a way to bring the Arts and business community together. Our roots in this community run strong. We’re more than your local bank. Our roots are here, too. We’re your neighbors, friends and family. Together, we build a better community. We wish to thank all the talented and ambitious filmmakers who brought their stories to the Festival. And of course, we thank the endless list of volunteers who have provided their talent and time to making this day possible. The VOB Festival is just one way that the Chamber provides exposure for its members while bringing the community together. We have become an integral and beneficial force in Putnam and its surrounding communities as we engage our businesses with networking events that include: monthly dinner meetings, Breakfast B4 Business and After Business Mixers. Our local businesses grow and thrive and in turn enrich our town, community, and county. That’s the power of partnership. On behalf of all who participated in the Village of Brewster Film & Food Festival: eat, drink, be merry, and enjoy the show!
